JEECUP 2022: Application Closing Date, Exam between 27th and 30th June 2022

The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (UPJEE - POLYTECHNIC) is conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh for admission to Diploma/Post Diploma/Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering, Technology, and Management courses offered by the Polytechnic institutions affiliated with the Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh. Qualifying for the exam is an eligibility criterion for admission.

For the year 2022, the exam conducting authority has re-opened the UPJEE 2022 application process at the official website – jeecup.nic.in. Candidates can submit their application for the exams from 15th February to 5th May 2022. Earlier the deadline to fill JEECUP Application Form was till 17th April 2022. Here, we will be discussing the application process for the year 2022. The officials confirm the schedule for the UPJEE 2022 exam, details are provided down below.

Before moving with the application process, candidates are required to make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria. The minimum age of the candidate must be 14 years as on 1st July 2022. There is no limit for the maximum/ upper age. The eligibility requirement for every subject is different. So, candidates must check the official notification carefully.

UPJEE 2022 Application Process

The application process for the UPJEE (Polytechnic) is online. No offline forms are made available. Candidates are required to submit the application form within the specified time period. Here are all the important documents required for submitting the application form and the step-by-step procedure for doing so.

Before filling up the application form, candidates are advised to keep the following things ready:

  • Scanned image of the signature of the candidate in JPEG format with dimensions 3.5cm x 1.5cm. The file size must be between 1 KB to 30 KB.
  • Scanned image of the colored photograph of the candidate in JPEG format with dimensions 3.5cm x 4.5cm. The size of the file must be 4KB to 200KB. The photograph must have the name of the candidate and the date on which the photo was taken (the photograph must not be older than 3 months).  Photographs with caps, goggles, and Polaroid photographs will not be accepted. Candidates must also keep at least 10 identical copies of the same photograph for the exam, counselling process, and admission.
  • A valid and working mobile number and email ID as important communications regarding the exam will be done through the registered Email ID and mobile number.

Now that you have all the things ready, you must move on with the application process.

Registration: The first step is to register for the exam. Visit the official website - https://jeecup.nic.in. Provide the details such as Name, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Gender, identification document/ number, Contact Details, Password, Security Answer, etc., to complete the registration. On successful registration, you will get a registration/ application number.

Complete the Application Form: Fill up the remaining application form with details such as category, sub-category, domicile, exam center, qualifying details, etc.

Upload the photograph and the signature.

Make Fee Payment: Make the application fee payment through Debit/Credit Card/Netbanking or through e-challan at any branch of SBI/ICICI bank in cash. Please note that the application fee, once paid, will not be refunded. The details of the application fee are:

Candidates are required to pay the additional bank charges. If the transaction is unsuccessful, the fee amount will be refunded after 15 days from the day of form submission.

After successful submission of the application fee, take a print of the confirmation page for future reference. Candidates are instructed  not to send the print of the confirmation page to the

Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh.
