Indian Army B.Sc. Nursing 2019 Result Announced – Check Here

The Directorate General of Medical Services (Army) has declared the result for the Indian Army B.Sc. Nursing exam 2019 on 25th March 2019. The result is available on the official website in PDF format. The exam was successfully conducted in January. Candidates who have appeared in the examination can visit the official website of the Indian Army to check the result.

  • Visit the official website of Indian Army.
  • Click on the ‘Result’ link on the home-page.
  • The result PDF will open on the screen. The PDF will contain the roll number, name, and marks of the candidates.
  • Search your roll number in the list.
  • You can download the result PDF for future reference.

Candidates may note that the Authority will not send them the result personally via post.

A total of 498 candidates have qualified the exam out of 28,348 candidates who have appeared for the exam. The shortlisted candidates have to appear for the interview round and medical test. Only after clearing all the rounds, one would get through the admission process and eventually, get a seat at one of the 6 colleges of Nursing of Armed Forces Medical Services. A total of 160 seats are offered by all the six participating institutions.

Note: After the result is declared, candidates who are appearing in the 10+2 board exams will have to provide their 12th marksheet (must be attested) at the centre. Admission to the 4-year Nursing Course will be denied if the Class XII marksheet is not received on time. Such female candidates have to send their marksheet on or before 15 July 2019 on the following address –

Final Merit List and Admission to Colleges of Nursing of Armed Forces Medical Services

The Directorate General of Medical Services will prepare the final merit list based on the performance in the Interview, written test score and the outcome of the medical examination.  Admission to the following colleges will mainly be based on the performance in the above mentioned criteria and the vacancies in the colleges.

Appointment in Military Nursing Service (MNS)

Only after successful completion of nursing training (4 years), the female applicants will be appointed in the “Military Nursing Service, under the Terms and Conditions laid down for grant of Short Service Commission.

Previous Year’s Result Details

In the Indian Army B.Sc. Nursing 2018 result, a total of 545 female aspirants were selected or shortlisted in the written exam for the Interview.

Indian Army B.Sc. Nursing 2019 Interview

Candidates who have qualified the written examination have to appear for the Interview round. The admit card/ call letter for the interview round will be sent at candidate’s registered email id. Candidates have to appear for the interview as per the schedule mentioned on the admit card.
