Calicut University is the second largest university in Kerala. It was established in the year 1968 with an aim of providing higher education (college level education) to the students in Northern Kerala. The affiliated colleges are spread across the five districts in the states - Kozhikode, Palakkad, Malappuram, Thrissur, and Wayanad. The university offers various graduate and post-graduate courses in the following fields:

Calicut University Admission

Admission to various courses is done by filling the online application form. The application forms are made available on the official website. The payment of online fee is also done through the online mode. However, the admission procedure is different for different courses. Calicut University Admission 2019 - Important Dates

For Centralised Admission Process (CAP)

Interested candidates are required to fill the online application form correctly by making the application fee payment. After the application process gets over, counselling round is conducted on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in their qualifying exam (10+2 exam). Admission date is fixed for different rounds of counselling. Candidates have to clear their admission status within the given time.

Calicut University Application Process 2019

For CAP Courses

  • Go to the official website and find the online application form.
  • Fill the form accurately.
  • Pay the application fee.
  • Select the course and college you are interested in.
  • Take a print out of the filled-in, submitted form.
  • Retain the ‘Student Copy’ with you while you are required to submit the ‘College Copy’ of the filled-in application form at the time of counselling.

For University Level Entrance Exam

  • Fill the application form on the official website.
  • Pay the application fee through online or e-Challan mode.

The result for the Calicut University Admission (both – through CAP and Entrance Exam) will be released on the official website. Candidates can use their log-in details to check the status of their exam.
