BITS (Birla Institute of Technology & Science), one of the most famous institutes in India, is on tip of the most students’ tongues with regard to quality education. There is no alternative way of declaration of this result. No hard copy of the result or scorecard is sent to candidates by post. The onus lies with the official authority to provide a scorecard to every candidate through an online mode after conduction of the exam. The scorecard contains the marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance examination. The good thing about BITS is that marks obtained by candidates and a total number of right and wrong answers are generated on the same after conduction of the written test.
The entrance exam conducted by BITS is a computer-based online test, which is conducted from 16th-31st May 2018. This entrance exam is conducted on different dates. Candidates can easily check their results through online mode after one day of taking their examination. They are selected for admission according to their rank in the merit list.
There are certain steps that candidates need to follow for checking their result:
BITS will declare its merit list for various programmes. The merit list is made on the basis of candidates’ scores in the entrance examination. The concerned authority will give the ranks of candidates on the basis of marks obtained by candidates. In case two candidates scores same marks, then under this condition tie-breaking will be applied. Under tie-breaking rule, the importance will be given to the marks scored in Mathematics/Biology.
