UPSEE Exam

The UPSEE 2019 (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam) earlier known as UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University) Exam 2019 is a state level entrance exam conducted by AKTU (Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University, UP). This entrance exam paves the way for admission of students in the various technical colleges/ institutions of Uttar Pradesh affiliated to AKTU. By passing this exam, students can get admission in the various UG & PG courses of Engineering, Pharmacy and Management. Those who are willing to pursue B.Arch, B.Pharm, B.Tech, MCA, MAM, BHMCT, BFAD, BFA, MBA etc. in Uttar Pradesh can apply for upcoming UPSEE 2019.

UPSEE/ UPTU 2019 Exam Latest Notification: UPSEE 2019 examination is expected to be held in the last week of April 2019 for undergraduate courses and 1st week of May for postgraduate courses. It is expected that the UPSEE application form 2019 will be available from January 2019. Admit card for UPTU 2019 Exam will tentatively be available from the 3rd week of April 2019.

The UPTU/AKTU 2019 Exam will consist of 11 question papers. These test papers will be designed by AKTU for admission in various PG courses. These papers will contain objective type questions except the Paper 4 which is meant for testing candidate's drawing aptitude.

UPSEE Exam 2019 Eligibility

To appear for the UPSEE 2019 Exam, candidates should fulfil below eligibility criteria-

Nationality

  • Candidate should be a citizen of India.
  • NRI, Foreign Nationals, PIO (People of Indian Origin) and Kashmiri migrants are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit

There is no upper age limit for the UPTU exam.

Educational Qualification –

  • Candidates should have passed the 12th standard in the Science stream with the combination of PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) subjects to become eligible to apply for the B.Tech admission.
  • Those candidates who have done B.Sc or Diploma in Engineering are eligible to apply for the exam for lateral entry in B.Tech course.
  • Candidates who are in their final year are also eligible to apply for the UPSEE exam.

UPSEE Exam 2019 Application Process

How to apply for UPSEE Application Form 2019?

UPTU exam application form 2019 will be available online on the official website of UPSEE upsee.nic.in from 3rd Week of January 2019. The candidates who are interested in getting admission in UP Technical University should fill the application form as per the given instructions. After filling the form, the candidate must keep the printout of the confirmation page which will be required for future use. There is no need to send the printed copy of the confirmation page to the University. The last date to submit the application form will be in 2nd Week of March 2019.

Steps to Fill Application Form

  • Candidate should visit the official website of the UPTU/AKTU.
  • Here, he should click on the apply button. It will ask him to get registered first.
  • The applicant can get registered by entering his personal details like name, address, email id and mobile number.
  • Upon registration, he will be sent the official login id and password. With these details, the Application Form will be accessed.
  • Fill the application form with all the necessary details such as Educational qualification, Name, Mother Name, Father Name, Date of birth, Parent domicile, Qualifying Exam passed, Identification details, etc. If the candidate belongs to a reserved category, he is required to furnish the proof (certificate).
  • Along with the application form, it is important that the aspirant should upload the scanned copies of his photograph, signature and impression of his left thumb.
  • The photograph should be coloured, in JPEG format and its size should not exceed the 100 KB. The dimensional size should be 3.5 cm and 4.5 cm. The background of the photograph should be white. Similarly, the size of the Signature and left thumb impression should not exceed 30 KB size. Its dimensional size should be 3.5 cm and 1.5 cm.
  • Along with the form, it is important to pay the application fee also. Without the Application Fee, forms will not be accepted.
  • Before submitting the application form candidate should check it to ensure there are no errors. Applications submitted with wrong details get one more chance to edit the mistakes. The Authority will open the correction window, which will be available from 1st week of April 2019.

UPSEE Exam Application Fee

Payment of the application fee for the UPTU exam is mandatory. The applicants should fill the details of the application fee on the application form. Once paid the application fee is non-refundable.

Other Details

UPTU / UPSEE Admit Card 2019

Candidates can download the UPSEE 2019 admit card only from the official website from 3rd week of April 2019. The admit card contains the candidate’s name, roll number, date, timing and address of venue of the exam. Without the call letter, no candidate will be allowed to appear in the UPSEE exam. Candidate should preserve the admit card until the exam gets complete. For any discrepancy or unable to download the admit card, the candidate should contact the AKTU official help desk as soon as possible.

Note: The UPTU 2019 hall ticket will not be sent by post to anyone.

UPSEE 2019 Exam Result

The result of the AKTU Exam 2019 will be published on the official website in the Last week of May 2019. A separate merit list will be prepared for each course on the basis of score obtained by the aspirants in the written exam. Qualified students will be called for the document verification and counselling. Candidates can find merit position, scorecard, total marks & subject-wise marks on the UP Technical University website after the declaration of result.

UPSEE Counselling 2019

AKTU will organise the UPTU/ UPSEE counselling process 2019 in June 2019. The online process will be done in several steps such as registration, choice filling, fee payment (INR 20,000/- for General Category and INR 12,000/- for SC/ST candidates), uploading of documents, allotment of seats and physical reporting at the centre. While visiting the venue, the candidates must bring hall tickets and essential original documents.
