ICAI Common Proficiency Test (CPT) Registration to Start from 04 April

ICAI CPT 2018 schedule published on the official website. Online registration will begin on 04 April 2018.

31 March 2018: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will begin the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) registration process from 04 April 2018. A schedule of the examination has been released on the official website.

Commencement of Online form filling for CPT Examination

4th April 2018 (10:00 A.M.)

Last date & time for filling the form and making payment without Late Fee through already created Login

26th April 2018 up to 23:59 P.M.

Last date & time for filling the form and making payment with Late Fee through already created Login

03rd May 2018 up to 23:59 P.M.

Last date for receipt of print out of dully filled-up online examination form (PDF)

07th May 2018

Availability of Correction Window -I (without fee)

1st Week of May 2018 (for one week)

Correction Window -II (with fee) will be available up to 09th June 2018

4th Week of May 2018 to 09th June 2018

Date of CPT Examination

17th June 2018 (Sunday)

Tentative date of result declaration (icaiexam.icai.org)

Around mid-July 2018

Common Proficiency Test

The test will be conducted in two sessions at 196 exam centers in India and 5 overseas exam centers. The details are as mentioned below:




First Session (Morning)

Section A – Fundamentals of Accounting

10:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Section B – Mercantile Laws

Second Session (Afternoon)

Section C – General Economics

2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Section D – Quantitative Aptitude
