CTET 2019 Exam - Registration Process Started for December Session

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the exam date for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), 13th edition. The examination will be conducted on 8th December 2019 (Sunday). CBSE has released the official notification at the official website. Candidates can check the same.

  • Click on the ‘Information Bulletin December 2019’ link on the home-page.
  • The notification PDF will open.
  • Check out the important dates and eligibility criteria.

Paper I

09:30 AM to 12:00 Noon

Paper II

Paper-I is conducted for teaching classes I to V and Paper-II is conducted for teaching classes VI to VIII.

Who can Apply for CTET 2019?

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility conditions before appearing for the exam. The eligibility conditions varies for Primary level and elementary level teaching exam. Here are the details:

For Primary Level Teaching Exam

Graduation with minimum 50% marks and Bachelor of Education degree. For other details check out the official notification.

For Elementary Level Teaching Exam

Graduation and passed/ appearing in the final year of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years). For other details, check out the official notification.

About CTET Exam

CTET is a national level exam and is conducted for certifying eligibility of teachers to be appointed at various state and central level schools. The exam is conducted twice a year in June and December. The CTET score remains valid for 7 years.
