
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released the examination pattern for the IBPS RRB Exam 2017. For Officer’s Scale 1 there will be a 3 stage exam, comprising of Prelims, Mains, and Interview. For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) there will be a two stage exam comprising of Prelims and Mains only. There will be no interview for this post. For the Officer’s Scale 2 and 3, there will be a 2 stage exam comprising of Single stage online exam followed by the interview.
The single stage exam for the Officer’s Scale 2 and 3 will be held on November 5th, 2017.

- A candidate is required to answer 200 questions in 2 hours.
- The exam will carry a total 200 marks.
- The question paper will be in Hindi as well as English. A candidate can opt for either English or Hindi language.
- The questions will be objective in nature.
- This exam has a scheme of negative marking also. For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted as penalty. Those questions which are left blank, no marks will be deducted from it.
- This candidate who will qualify this single stage exam will be further called to appear for the interview.
- A candidate is required to qualify each stage of the exam, as well as the aggregate score of all the stages to get selected in this exam.
