The Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training under the Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship Department, Government of Assam conducts the Assam ITI admission process for admission into government and private ITIs in the state. Admission is offered in various engineering and non-engineering trades based on the merit list prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying exam. Assam ITI Admission 2022 Application Process
Assam ITI application forms are to be submitted online only through the official website. Here is the detailed process.
- Visit the official website at https://itiassam.nic.in/.
- Click on the ‘New Registration’ link for the Assam ITI 2022 admission.
- Fill in the personal details such as name, contact number, email ID, Parent’s name, gender, date of birth, category, religion, etc.
- Enter the educational details such as the name of the institution, marks obtained, qualifying status, etc.
- Provide address details.
- After filling out the application form completely, take a print of the form and visit the nearest Government ITI for document verification.
- After the verification process is complete, you can submit your choices of ITIs and trades.
Application/ Registration Fee
There is no application fee for the Assam ITI 2022 admission process.

Assam ITI Admission 2022 - Choice Filling
After the document verification process, candidates are required to log in again and provide their choices for ITIs and trades. A list of ITIs will appear on the screen with the respective fee structure. Select the ITIs and trades in order of decreasing preferences.
Assam ITI Admission 2022 - Merit List
After the choice filling process, a merit list is prepared by the officials based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam. The merit/ rank list will display the names of the selected candidates and their ranks.
Assam ITI Admission 2022 - Seat Allotment/ Counselling
The seats are allotted based on the merit rank and preferences submitted by the candidates. Candidates are required to download the allotment letter from their profile and participate in the counselling process for admission. The schedule for the counselling process is released on the official website.
