State Bank of India Started Online Application Process for SBI SO 2019

The State Bank of India (SBI) conducts the recruitment process for Specialist Officers from time-to-time. For some posts such as Deputy General Manager, Deputy Manager, and Special Management Executive, the selection is done on the basis of written exam and interview while for others, the selection is done through short-listing and interview. The Bank has recently announced vacancies for specialist cadre officers and selection will be done through the interview process. Here are other details.

SBI has invited applications for the recruitment of Special Officers (SO) at 11 posts on a regular and contractual basis. The SBI online application process for the same has started on 9th January 2019 and will continue till 31st January 2019. Here are the other important dates:

SBI Specialist Officer (SO) Eligibility

Before filling the application form, make sure you meet the eligibility criteria. Here are the details:

Post

Educational Qualifications (as on 1st December 2018)

Post Qualification Experience (as on 1st December 2018)

Deputy Manager (Statistician)

Post Graduation in Statistics/Data Analytics with minimum 60% marks.

Minimum 5 years’ of experience as a Statistician/Executive in Supervisory

Manager (Servicing – Digital)

Minimum B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science/Information Technology from a recognized University. Preference will be given to MBA or equivalent degree.

Post qualification experience of minimum 4 years in related work in PSU/Bank/Corporate

Project Development Manager – Agriculture/International Banking/ Retail/Corporate Banking

Manager (Business Analyst/Customer Service Analyst)

Manager (Digital Marketing)

Manager (Online Fulfillment/Integration and Journey/Superstore Fulfillment)

Head (Legal)

Degree in Law (3 years/ 5 years) and Post Graduate degree in Law from a recognized University.

Practiced as Advocate for a minimum period of 3 years and minimum service of 20 years as a law officer in Scheduled Commercial Bank and served as General Manager for a minimum of 1 year. Experience should be after registration with the Bar Council.

DGM (Law)

Degree in Law (3 years/ 5 years). Post Graduate degree in Law will be preferred.

Practiced as Advocate for a minimum of 3 years and minimum service of 17 years as a law officer in Scheduled Commercial Bank and served as Assistant General Manager (Law) and above for at least 2 years. Experience should be after registration with the Bar Council.

DGM (NCLT)

Degree in Law (3 years/ 5 years). Post Graduate degree in Law will be preferred.

Should have practiced as Advocate for a minimum period of 3 years and given minimum service of 17 years as a law officer in Legal Department of Financial Institution or Scheduled Commercial Bank or Asset Reconstruction Company. Experience should be after registration with the Bar Council.

Executive (Credit Monitoring)

Chartered Accountant

Post qualification experience in SME Credit/ corporate as an executive in Management/Supervisory role in Schedule Commercial Bank/Subsidiary or Associate of a Schedule Commercial Bank OR in a listed financial institute of PSU.

Head (Product, Investment & Research)

Graduation/Post Graduation from a recognized University

Minimum 12 years of experience in financial product development, financial services, investment advisory and private banking. Excellent knowledge of Alternate Investments, PMS, Equity Products, Mutual Funds.

  • Expand the link ‘Recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers on Regular & Contractual Basis
  • Click on ‘Apply Online’ link.
  • Click on ‘Click Here for New Registration’ button on the top.
  • Read the ‘Important Points’ carefully and click on the ‘Continue’ button.
  • Register by providing the details.
  • On successful registration, the log-in details will appear on the screen.
  • Go to the log-in page and enter details to log-in.
  • Fill the application form, upload photograph and signature, and other documents.
  • Make application fee payment.

Application Fee Unreserved category candidates have to pay ₹ 600/- and SC/ST/PwD category candidates have to pay ₹ 100/- as application fee.

SBI SO 2019 Selection Process -

After the application process, candidates are shortlisted for the interview process. The bank will call the candidates for the interview process. The Merit list will be prepared in descending order on the basis of interview scores. Candidates are requested to keep their email-id working to ensure uninterrupted communication.
