NEST 2019 Admit Card Available at the Official Website - Steps to Download

Admit Cards for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) are uploaded at the official website on 24th April 2019. Candidates who have successfully submitted their applications can download the admit cards from the official website - NEST is conducted for admission to integrated M.Sc. programmes offered at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. The exam will be conducted across 91 cities in India.

Steps to download the NEST 2019 Admit Card

  • Go to the NEST official website.
  • Click on ‘Download Admit Card’ button on the home page.
  • Enter your user ID and password to log-in.
  • Your admit card will appear on the screen.
  • Check all the details and download the admit card.
  • Take a print of the same and keep it safe.

The admit card needs to be carried to the examination centre for making entry to the examination hall.

NEST 2019 Exam Pattern

The NEST examination will be conducted on 1st June 2019 (Saturday) through a computer-based mode. The exam will be held in two sessions:

  • First session - 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM
  • Second session - 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM

The session will be mentioned on the candidates’ respective admit cards.

The question paper will have multiple choice questions from the following sections:



Section 1 - General


Section 2 - Biology


Section 3 - Chemistry


Section 4 - Mathematics


Section 5 - Physics

NEST 2019 Result

Based on the candidate’s performance in the exam, separate merit lists will be prepared for NISER and CEBS. The merit lists will be uploaded at the official website on 17th June 2019. Successful candidates are required to take part in the counselling process for admission to their preferred courses. Admission will be strictly done on the basis of the merit list.
