RPF Constable 2020 Syllabus
There are three subjects - General Awareness, Arithmetic, General and Intelligence & Reasoning
General Awareness: It covers Constitution, Sports, Inventions in the World, History, Culture, Traditions, and Festivals, Scientific Research, Economics, Chemistry, General Awareness of Environment & application to society, Zoology, Indian Parliament, Basic GK, Famous Days & Dates, Basic Computer, General Polity, Knowledge of Current Events, Questions relating to History, Geography, National/ International Organizations /Institutions, Everyday Science, Botany, Art & Culture and Physics.
Arithmetic: It covers Number Systems, Use Of Table And Graphs, Whole Numbers, Ratio And Proportion, Decimal And Fractions And Relationships Between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetical Operations, Time And Distance, Percentages, Profit And Loss, Averages, Interest, Mensuration, Discount, Ratio And Proportion, etc.
General Intelligence & Reasoning: Analogies, Arithmetic Number Series, Similarities And Differences, Discriminating Observation, Visual Memory, Spatial Visualization, Statement Conclusion, Problem Solving Analysis, Judgment, Decision Making, Relationship Concepts, Arithmetical Reasoning, Verbal And Figure Classification, Spatial Orientation, Non-Verbal Series, Coding And Decoding, Syllogistic Reasoning, etc.

Note: Candidates will have the option of choosing any of the languages for their Computer-Based Test— English, Hindi, Urdu, Telugu, Tamil, Manipuri, Assamese, Punjabi, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, and Konkani. All the questions in the exam will be objective type and maximum marks will be 120 marks. There is negative marking and 1/3 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Physical Efficiency Test for RPF Constable 2020 Examination
Candidates, who qualify for CBT (Computer Based Test), will be called for Physical Efficiency Test. They will be subjected to tests tabulated below:

Medical Examination for RPF Constable 2020
Candidates, who qualify for the Physical Efficiency Test, will go for Medical Examination at a Railway Hospital. Here, they need to qualify for Medical category ‘B-I’ in accordance with Indian Railway Medical Manual. Those who wear spectacles or have any bodily defects, such as colour blindness, a squint eye, knock knee or flat foot cannot qualify the medical test.
Candidates, who are found medically fit, will be sent to training centre run by the railway administration. During training, trainees will be given a stipend and allowances under the railway rules. They should note that passing the final examination is a must for them.

Excellent preparation is a must for cracking any competitive exam and RPF Constable Exam 2020 is no exception. Unless candidates get appropriate tips for the preparation of this exam, they cannot think of qualifying for it. The tips are mentioned below one by one:

- Make a proper schedule for covering all the parts of the syllabus.
- Lay more focus on those parts with which you are completely unfamiliar.
- Keeping time constraint into consideration, spare time for your study.

- Spare some time for your revision also.
- Solve previous years question papers.
