IIT JAM 2019: First Admission List of M.Sc Courses Declared

IIT JAM 2019: The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has updated the first admission list for M.Sc courses at the authorized portal.

IIT Kharagpur has announced the first admission list for the M.Sc programmes on the official website by 4^th June 2019. The admission list for M. Sc courses is available on the authorized portal i.e. jam.iitkgp.ac.in. Students who qualified the IIT JAM exam can check their allotment status online. Aspiring candidates have to pay an online Seat Booking Fee in the premium IITs till 10^th June 2019. The admissions to M.Sc courses will be completed based on the candidate’s IIT JAM 2019 Scores.

IIT JAM 2019: Important Dates

Earlier the IIT JAM 2019 exam was conducted on 10^th February 2019 in two different CBT sessions. The result for the same was announced on 10^th March 2019, while the IIT JAM 2019 Scorecard is available till 31^st July 2019 on the official website. Through this exam, candidates will grant admissions to the M.Sc courses including M.Sc (four sem), M.Sc-PhD dual degree, Joint M.Sc-PhD, etc programmes at IITs and IISc Institutes across India.

IIT JAM 2019 Admission Process

To secure admissions in the JAM 2019 participating institutes, students need to qualify IIT JAM 2019 exam to take part in the IIT JAM 2019 Counselling and Seat Allocation Process. In the case of tie-breaking, candidates will be selected based on their merit ratio of positive and negative marks. Students with a higher ration will secure a better rank. If this method not works, then both participants will get the same rank.
