UPSEE 2018 Exam Pattern: Negative Marking Criteria and Scoring Scheme
Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination is conducted for admission into first year of undergraduate courses such as B.Tech./B.Tech.(Agriculture Engg.)/B.Tech.(Biotechnology)/B.Des./B.Arch./B.Pharm./BFA/BFAD/BHMCT, postgraduate courses such as MBA/MBA (Integrated)/MCA/MCA (Integrated) and 2nd year (lateral entry) of B.Pharm./B.Tech./MCA.
The online application process for the examination has started on 23 January and the registration window will remain open until 15 March 2018. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 29 April 2018 for UG courses and 05 and 06 May 2018 for PG courses.
UPSEE 2018 Exam Pattern
UPSEE 2018 exam will be conducted for 11 papers with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) except for Drawing Aptitude test (Paper 4 Part B). The candidates are required to select from these 11 papers in accordance with their eligibility. Here is the list of all 11 question papers and subjects included in the UPSEE:

Please Note:
Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3 and Paper 4 will be OMR based test only while Paper 5, Paper 6, Paper 7, Paper 8, Paper 9, Paper 10 and Paper 11 will be Computer Based Test only.
UPSEE Exam 2018 Marking Criteria -
- Every question will have four options; candidates are required to select one choice only.
- 4 marks will be rewarded for every correct answer.
- There will be no negative marking for incorrect answer. A record of an incorrect answer will be kept.
- Question with more than one answer will be marked incorrect and no marks will be awarded for the same.
- In the OMR based test (Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3 and Paper 4), answers in the OMR sheet are to be marked using ballpoint pen (Blue/Black) only.
Please note that for evaluation of OMR sheets, details filled in by the candidate will be considered as final. So, make sure you fill the details correctly.
