UPSEE Entrance Exam 2020 Eligibility Criteria For Admission

There are certain eligibility criteria that a candidate needs to follow in order to qualify for taking the UPSEE exam. The eligibility criteria are mainly based on age, academic qualification, domicile-related norms etc. which a candidate needs to match in order to be eligible for UPSEE Entrance Exam. UPSEE Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria

Note: Lateral Entry or Direct Admission to the second year of B.Arch./ BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA/ MBA courses is not allowed.

UPSEE Entrance Exam Eligibility

1.) UPSEE Exam Eligibility Conditions for the First Year B. Tech/ B. Des. and B. Pharm.

  • A candidate must have passed the intermediate exam of U.P. Board or 10+2 level of the exam or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
  • A candidate should have a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST) in compulsory and optional subjects combined together.
  • Also, he/she should have marks without any grace marks in all subjects of the group of the subject.

2.) UPSEE Exam Eligibility Conditions For First Year BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/

  • A candidate should have passed the intermediate exam of U.P. Board or 10+2 level of the exam or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
  • He or she must have secured at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST) in total without any grace markings.
  • Merit to the candidate will be decided as per the aggregate of the qualifying exam.

3.) UPSEE Exam Eligibility Conditions for Admission to First Year Of MBA in any Institution Affiliated to A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University AKTU, Lucknow

  • A candidate should have passed a minimum 3 years Bachelor Degree Programme from any of the recognized university.
  • He/she must have secured at least 45% (40% for SC/ST) marks in total without any grace marks.
  • Merit for the candidate will be given on the basis of aggregate in the qualifying exam.

4.) UPSEE Exam Eligibility Conditions for Admission to First Year Of MCA in any Institution Affiliated to A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University AKTU, Lucknow

  • A candidate should have passed a minimum 3 years Bachelor Degree Programme from any of the recognized university.
  • He/she must have secured at least 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in total without any grace marks.
  • Also, he or she must have passed Mathematics at the 10+2 level.
  • The relative merit of the candidate will be given on the basis of aggregate in the qualifying exam.

5.) UPSEE Exam Eligibility Conditions for NRI Quota Admission

  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent level of examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from an institution located outside the country.

OR

  • He or she must have passed HIGH School Certificate Education (GCE) exam with Chemistry, Higher Mathematics, and Physics from London/ Cambridge/ Sri Lanka.
  • He or she must have appeared in the SAT II exam with Mathematics level II C, Chemistry, and Physics. The merit of such candidates shall be judged on the basis of their SAT II score.
