CBSE UGC NET Exam Pattern 2017 (November Session)

The Central Board of Secondary Education conducts the National Eligibility Test on behalf of the University Grants Commission every year. The exam is conducted twice and the second session of the exam for the year 2017 is just around the corner. It is scheduled to be conducted on 5th November 2017. So, here is the UGC NET Exam pattern in details:

60 out of which 50 has to be attempted

The exam is conducted Offline in Hindi and English language. Optical Mark Reader (OMR) sheet is provided to mark the answers. Candidates are required to read the instruction provided for filling up the OMR sheet on their admit cards. Incorrect method of answer marking will not be considered.

Other things about the UGC NET Exam Pattern

  • Candidates with disability get 25 minutes compensatory time for Paper 1 and Paper 2 and 50 minutes for Paper 3.
  • Candidates with low vision (minimum 40% impairment) are allowed to take help from a scribe to write the examination. However, there is no provision for Braille Test Booklet.
  • The Centre Superintendent will pay ₹ 1000/- (one thousand only) to the scribe for all the papers on the day of the examination.
