College of Engineering, Guindy is the oldest engineering college of our country. Established in May of 1794 as s survey school, it became a civil engineering college in 1858. It became a part of Anna University in 1978. They conduct no entrance test. The admission to College of Engineering, Guindy is based on the marks obtained in Higher Secondary Examination.
