Administered by Symbiosis International University, Pune, the SNAP Online Test is the common, compulsory exam to get admission into all the 15 Symbiosis Institutes affiliated with SIU. SNAP is the qualifying exam to pursue MBA/MSc (SS)/ MSc (CA) courses offered by the institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). The admission process involves candidates registering for both the exam and the institutes offering their preferred programs. In both cases, the registration fee must be remitted separately. SNAP Exam 2023 Pattern & Syllabus

The Symbiosis National Aptitude is an online test that will be computer-based in the second week of December 2022. The duration of the exam is two hours - from 2 pm to 4 pm. The question pattern is objective type, and the total number of questions to be asked is 180.

  • Negative Marking Scheme: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer

Note: As mentioned on the official website, “For special questions in each section will be blanks where answers will have to be entered by the candidate by using the virtual keyboard. For example, if the question is “What is the capital of Australia?” The candidate must enter the answer as CANBERRA by using the virtual keyboard.


SNAP Syllabus 2023 -

Just like any other MBA exams, such as CAT, MAT, etc. SNAP, too, doesn’t have a prescribed syllabus offered by the conducting body. SIU has no specific syllabus for the candidates. Well, there’s nothing to worry about. We have devised the most appropriate SNAP 2023 syllabus considering the exam pattern and previous years’ question papers.

There are four major subjects that management aspirants need to prepare for. They are –

  • Quantitative Aptitude – 35 Questions
  • Analytical Reasoning – 35 Questions
  • General English – 35 Questions
  • Current Affairs – 25 Questions

SNAP Exam 2023 Eligibility

Interested candidates should fulfill the following eligibility criteria to fill in the SNAP 2023 online application form.

Nationality

  • It is not mandatory that an applicant should be an Indian.
  • OCI, FN, NRI, and PIO candidates can also apply for the MBA exam.

Educational Qualifications

  • Graduation with at least 50% marks from any recognized University.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories should have secured minimum passing marks of 45%.
  • Those who have done bachelor's from foreign universities are required to obtain the equivalence certification from the Association of Indian Universities. It means that the foreign university from which a candidate has obtained his Bachelor’s degree is approved or recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.

SNAP Exam 2023 Application Process

The application process for the SNAP exam 2023 started on 4th August 2022 and will remain active till 24th November 2022. Candidates need to register for the exam in online mode only. Here are the steps on how to complete the SNAP 2023 registration process.

Stage I – Registration:

  • Visit the official website of SNAP 2023.
  • Click on the link (in the top right corner) that says ‘Register Now’. Select ‘User Login’ if you have already done the registration part.

  • Provide personal details like Name, Address, Mobile Number, and Valid Email ID.
  • Upon successful registration, the exam-conducting authority will send an ID and Password to the registered email id given by the candidate. 

Stage II – Filling Details (Personal & Academic):

  • With the SNAP ID and Password, the candidate can access the Application Form.
  • He is required to fill the form with important details like educational qualifications, personal details, and address. 

Stage III – Uploading Documents:

  • The uploaded documents are required to be submitted along with the Application Form. Make sure the scanned copies of the photograph and signature meet the required size and dimension.

Stage IV – Application Fee Payment:

  • The next step is to release the payment. Application forms submitted without the application fees will be considered invalid.

Payment Structure of Registration/SNAP Application Fee

  • The applicants are required to pay an amount of INR 1950/-.
  • It can be paid online (Billdesk Payment Gateway, Easebuzz Payment Gateway, and Indian Bank Payment Gateway) and offline mode (DD in favor of Symbiosis Test Secretariat).

SNAP Registration and Application Form: Important Points

  • The SNAP application form will be available online mode only.
  • Details (except name, date of birth, category, and test city preference) mentioned in the form can be edited only till the last date of form submission.
  • The candidates will be allowed to choose up to three options as a preferred test city. However, the allotment of the test city and center will be based on availability.
  • The candidates must ensure they complete the fee payment process for the desired course and institutes before the last date of SNAP registration in 2023.
  • Check all the details mentioned in the form thoroughly before clicking the save/submit button.
  • Save a copy of the duly filled SNAP application form and fee payment acknowledgment slip for future reference.*

SNAP Exam Admit Card 2023 -

SNAP admit card 2023 is now available for download online at snaptest.org. The candidates can download their admit cards for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test 2023 from the official website of SNAP or Symbiosis International (Deemed) University till the exam day. They can download the SNAP 2023 admit card using the login ID created during the SNAP exam registration. This year SNAP exam is being conducted thrice, and the candidates can attempt it twice. They will have to register for each attempt separately, but the SNAP admit card for both attempts is expected to be common. Produce the admit card and one photo identity proof on the exam day. An acceptable photo ID could be –

  • Passport
  • Pan card
  • Aadhaar card
  • Driving license
  • Voter ID

How to Download SNAP Admit Card 2023

SNAP 2023 admit card will be issued to registered candidates only. Given below are the steps to download the SNAP admit card:

  • Log on to the official website of SNAP.
  • Click on the ‘admit card is live’ tab on the homepage.
  • Enter the SNAP ID and password.
  • SNAP admit card will appear on the screen.
  • Download it and take a printout of the same.

Problems in Downloading SNAP 2023 Admit Card

Candidates might face trouble in downloading the SNAP admit card 2023 because of the below-given reasons:

  • Heavy traffic on the official website
  • Entering the wrong credentials
  • Slow internet

On the first day of the SNAP 2023 admit card download, one may find it difficult to login in. This could happen due to many visitors to the website at the same time. In such a situation, do not panic. Log out and visit the website after some time. You can download the admit card till the exam day.

If the login credentials you're entering are wrong or you have forgotten the password, create a new password and log in again. If the speed of the internet connection you are using is slow, switch to a faster internet connection to be able to download your SNAP admit card.

SNAP 2023 Mock Test -

Symbiosis International University will conduct a SNAP mock test before the exam. Candidates who will complete their SNAP 2023 registration process will be eligible to take the official mock test. To take the official SNAP mock test, the candidates have to book a slot beforehand. Candidates can book the slot and take the mock test using their SNAP login ID and password, created at the time of SNAP application form submission.

SNAP Reservation Policy

Except for the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, the SNAP reservation policy is the same for all the programs offered by its affiliated institutes. The University has divided the reservation policy into two parts –

Within Sanctioned Intake:

  • SC: 15%
  • ST: 7.5%
  • Children/wards of Defence Personnel: 5%
  • Differently-Abled: 3%

OVER & ABOVE INTAKE:

  • Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats per program.
  • International Candidates: 15%

SNAP Exam Result 2023 -

SNAP Results were declared on 10th January 2023. The SNAP 2023 results were declared online. Qualified candidates will be called for the further stages of the process, such as GE-PIWAT, i.e., Group Exercise, Personal Interview, and Written Ability Test. This will entirely be done as per the overall percentile scored in the exam. The final merit list is prepared on the basis of the marks scored in these stages of exams and the SNAP score. SNAP Exam Frequently Asked Questions

The first thing that an aspirant needs to do is to clear the SNAP entrance test. After that, he will be called to appear in the special exams conducted by the affiliated institutes and the colleges of the Symbiosis University. The Institutes usually conduct GE-PIWAT (Group Exercise, Personal Interview and Written Ability Test). The final merit list is prepared on the basis of the scores obtained in the SNAP Exam and GE-PIWAT exam.

The results were declared on 10th January 2023.
