Central Railway has announced the RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2022 exam to fill in 1937 vacancies for various posts viz. pharmacist, staff Nurse, X-Ray Technician, and lab technician. The recruitment is being done for Dharhara - Bhusawal division for 3 months on a full-time basis for the COVID-19 ward. Eligible candidates can apply for the same at the official website of the central railway. In another notification, Southern Railway has also invited applications for Paramedical staff. RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2022 Pattern & Syllabus

The selection for the above posts will be done through an Interview conducted via video call. However, when the recruitment is done by the Railway Recruitment Board for paramedical staff across the country, the selection pattern is different. The recruitment is done for posts namely Dental Hygienist, Dietician, Staff Nurse, Extension Educator, Lab Assistant Grade III, ECG Technician, Laboratory Superintendent, Optometrist, Radiographer, Pharmacist Grade II, Speech Therapist, Perfusionist, Lady Health Visitor, Physiotherapist, Dialysis Educator, and Health and Malaria Inspector Grade III.  We have mentioned the pattern and syllabus below.

RRB Paramedical Selection Process 2022 (for recruitment across the country)

Candidates appearing in the exam will have to undergo the RRB Paramedical selection process 2022 and emerge successful in all three stages.

The RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2022 exam will be held in online mode (CBT). Let’s understand the exam pattern –

RRB Paramedical Document Verification (DV) 2022

Only after the successful completion of the CBT round, the RRB will declare the result. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the document verification (DV) round where they need to produce relevant documents including High School Certificate or Matriculation, Matriculation Mark sheets, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Degree/ Diploma Certificate, J&K Domicile Certificate (if applicable), Income Certificate for EWS category candidates to Waive Exam Fee, Self-declaration and Discharge Certificate by Ex-servicemen, Minority Community Document on a Non-judicial Stamp Paper, NOC Issued by Serving Employees or Defence Personnel/ Ex-servicemen, Decree of Divorce, Medical Certificate for PWD Category Candidates, etc. on the given date.

RRB Paramedical Medical Examination (ME) 2022

The RRB Paramedical Medical Examination (ME) will be carried out at the railway hospitals after the CBT and DV stages. Whether the candidates are eligible for the post or not, it will only be decided after passing the medical test. Aspirants who reach this stage but wear glasses or have other bodily defects, squint eyes, a flat foot, color blindness, etc. will not be eligible for the final appointment. Only those candidates who clear the final round will be appointed for the respective posts.

RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2022 Eligibility

A candidate must meet the eligibility criteria for RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2022, prescribed by the Recruitment Board. The candidature of the candidate will be rejected if he or she is found to have provided the wrong information. The RRB Paramedical exam eligibility criteria 2022 are as follows:

Nationality –

  • The applicant should be an Indian citizen.
  • Or, a resident of Bhutan.
  • Or, a resident of Nepal.
  • Or, a Tibetan refugee who settled in India on or before 01st January 1962.
  • Or, a person migrated to India from Pakistan, Uganda, Sri Lanka, Burma, East African Countries of Kenya, Zambia, the United Republic of Tanzania, Ethiopia, Malawi and Vietnam to settle down permanently.

Age Relaxation –

Yes, RRB has brought in age relaxation for the following aspirants

  • OBC-NCL candidates: 3 years
  • PwBD UR: 10 years
  • SC/ ST candidates: 5 years
  • PwBD OBC-NCL: 13 years
  • Ex-servicemen (minimum 6 months of service)/ UR/ SC-ST/ OBC-NCL: Upper age limit + Number of years of service rendered in defence + Community age relaxation + 3 years

The application process for RRB Paramedical exam 2022 has already been over. Candidates willing to appear for the upcoming RRB Paramedical exam 2022 must apply online. For that, they must visit the official website of Central Railway.

How to Submit the RRB Paramedical Application Form?

  • Visit the RRB official website
  • Click on the “Online Registration” link
  • Select the “New Registration” link
  • Here, you have to choose the RRB (RRB regional center) for which you are applying
  • Choose your community/ category that you belong to
  • Go through the instructions and tick the “Declaration” section and then “Submit
  • Next, you need to provide basic details like your complete name, email ID, phone number, parents’ names, status Aadhaar card, 10th standard details, date of birth and enter CAPTCHA.
  • Now “Continue
  • Check the details provided by you and then click the option “I have verified and confirmed that all the details furnished by me are correct”. Select the “red box” if you wish to make some changes.
  • You will then be sent an OTP through which the registration number is generated.
  • Log in with your registration number and DOB. Enter CAPTCHA.
  • Provide further information including your education qualification, community, nationality, gender, religion and other details like whether you are a government employee or PwBD category. Click on “Save”.
  • Remit the application fee.
  • Upload photo, signature and other relevant documents as per the specifications.
  • Opt for a scribe to write the exam (if the candidate is visually impaired).
  • Submit” the application form and take a printout.

RRB Paramedical Application Fee 2022 -

  • Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Women/ Transgender/ PWD / Economic Backward Classes/ Minorities/ Ex-servicemen will have to pay ₹ 250/- as the application fee.
  • Those who belong to this category “Male/ OBC/ the remaining category” will have to pay a sum of ₹ 500/-.

Payment can be made via credit card, debit card, net banking and Challan. However, an aspirant can seek a refund of the application fee if he wants. The amount would be ₹ 250/- and ₹ 400/- respectively.

What Documents to keep beforehand while submitting the RRB Paramedical Application Form?

  • A passport-sized photograph

Modification in Application Form

If candidates want to make modifications/ changes in the application details after the final submission of the application form, the changes can be done as under:

  • In data other than RRB, Mobile Number, and Email address, changes can be done by paying ₹ 100 (non-refundable).
  • For modification in the category from SC/ST to OBC or UR, the difference in the application fee i.e. ₹ 250/- are to be paid in addition to the modification fee (₹ 100). Similar rules will be applicable for other category modifications.

Note - Modification in the registration and application details can be done twice only. The modifications can be done only until the last date of application submission.

No changes can be done to the RRB, Email ID, and Mobile Number.

Rejection of Applications

Online applications are liable to be rejected by the recruitment board on the following grounds:

  • Multiple applications - More than one application to different RRBs or one RRB. All the applications will be rejected.
  • Invalid photograph - Black & White photo, photo wearing goggles or cap, small size photo, unrecognizable photo, group photo, selfie photo, morphed photo, full-body photo, etc. Make sure you read the specification for the photo carefully before uploading.
  • Signature in CAPITAL letters.
  • If the candidate’s name is in the debarred list of RRC/ RRB.
  • Any other irregularity is considered invalid by RRB.

The status of the application can be checked at the official website of RRB. In the case of rejected applications, the reason for rejection is mentioned. Candidates will also be intimated about the same via SMS or Email. The application fee will not be refunded.

RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2022 Other Details

RRB Paramedical Admit Card 2022 –

Railway Recruitment Board will issue e-call letters through the official website. Eligible candidates should visit the official web portal and download the respective RRB Paramedical admit card 2022. The steps to download the e-call letter are –

  • Visit the official website of RRB.
  • Click on the notification link “Click here for downloading E-Call letter, Travel Pass and to view mock test (Paramedical Categories)”.
  • This will take you to a new page where you need to enter the “Registration No.” and “Date of Birth”
  • And “Submit”

There you go! You will be able to download and take printouts of the hall tickets. Call on the helpline number or email RRB officials for any issues regarding downloading the e-call letter.

Leave the spaces for signature, Left Thumb Impression, and self-declaration unfilled in the admit card. The same has to be filled in the presence of the invigilator in the examination hall. Candidates are required to carry the admit card along with a valid Photo ID proof to the examination center. Also, carry a color photograph (size - 35mm x 45mm) same as uploaded in the application form.

RRB Paramedical Result, DV and ME 2022 –

The officials have not announced the RRB Paramedical 2022 sarkari result date yet. Shortlisted aspirants will subsequently be called for further process by the Board. It is advised that candidates should visit the official website regularly for more updates. Those who qualify for the CBT are called for the DV process. Candidates are required to carry all original documents with two sets of self-attested photocopies for the DV process. Here are the required documents:

  • Class X or equivalent certificate
  • 10+2 or equivalent certificate
  • Diploma/ degree certificate with mark sheets
  • OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST certificate, if applicable
  • Income & Asset certificate for Economically Weaker Section

You must be aware that the selection procedure involves three major stages – CBT, DV (Document Verification) and ME (Medical Exam). After clearing CBT, candidates will be called for DV and then ME will follow. Candidates who successfully clear all the stages will be given the appointment letter.
