RPF SI Exam Syllabus -

There are four subjects - General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge, Numerical Aptitude and General English - which are covered under RPF SI Exam. The syllabi of these subjects are mentioned below:

General Intelligence & Reasoning: This subject covers Arithmetical Reasoning, Cubes and Dice, Decision Making, Blood Relations, Number Ranking, Non-Verbal Series, Directions, Alphabet Series, Analogy, Embedded Figures, Number Series, Coding-Decoding, Clocks & Calendars and Mirror Images.

General Knowledge: It covers National/International Organizations /Institutions, Chemistry, Geography, Constitution, Basic Computer, General Awareness of Environment & application to society, Indian Parliament, Inventions in the World, Scientific Research, Sports, Famous Books & Authors, Physics, Knowledge of Current Events, Questions relating to History, History, Culture, Traditions, and Festivals, Art & Culture, Economics, Famous Days & Dates, Botany, Polity, Zoology, Everyday Science and Basic GK.

Numerical Aptitude: It includes Number Systems, Time and Distance, Fractions, Statics, Algebra, Statistics, Computation of Whole Numbers, Differential Geometry, Operations Research & Linear Programming, Discount, Computation of Whole Numbers, Use of Tables and Graphs, Calculus, Decimals, Averages, Menstruation, Dynamics, Analytical Geometry, Interest, Real Analysis, The relationship between Numbers, Percentages, Time and Work, Profit and Loss, Ratio and Proportion, Differential Equations, Ratio and Time, Essential Mathematics and Fundamental Arithmetical Operations.

General English: It covers Grammar, Idioms & Phrases, Vocabulary, Unseen Passages, Antonyms, Sentence Rearrangement, Articles, Comprehension, Adverb, Error Correction, Synonyms, Tenses, Fill in the Blanks, Verb and Subject-Verb Agreement.

RPF SI Exam pattern -

The exam pattern for easy understanding of candidates is tabulated below.

Notes:

• Candidates will have the option of choosing one of the subjects— Hindi, English, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Odia, Assamese, Manipuri and Punjabi.
• The standard of the examination will be of graduation level.
• There will be negative marking in the exam. 1/3 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
• Candidates need to score at least 35% marks in each subject and 35% aggregate in the written exam to qualify for it.

RPF SI Physical Efficiency Test (PMT) 2022

Candidates, who qualify for the written test, will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test.  The criteria for this test are as follows:

RPF SI Exam 2022 Application Process

The online registration process for the RPF SI exam will begin in the first week of June 2022 and will continue until the last week of June 2022. Candidates will be able to apply for the RPF exam through online mode only for their online registration. The steps that they need to follow include the following:

• First of all, they need to register themselves through the official website - RPF SI Website by providing their basic details, such as name, date of birth, father’s name, Aadhar number.
• After being registered, they need to fill their application by entering the relevant details - name, father’s name, mother’s name, education, email id etc.
• Upload the scanned photograph and signature
• Pay the application fee through Debit Card/Credit Card or Internet Banking
• Submit the application form
• Finally, do not forget to take a print out for further reference

RPF SI Admit Card 2022

The RPF SI Admit Card 2022 will be made available to candidates through online mode 10 days prior to the commencement of the written exam. Candidates are required to consider the following steps to download their admit cards:

• Visit the RPF official website.
• Click on the ‘Careers Section’.
• Select download ‘RPF SI 2022 call letter’.
• Enter your registration number and password.
• Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
• RPF SI Admit Card will be generated.
• Take a printout of it.

RPF SI Document Verification 2022

Candidates, who qualify for both the written test and physical efficiency test, will be called for the document verification process. The documents that they need to bring include a 10th/matriculation certificate as proof of age, a graduation certificate as proof of educational qualification, a caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates), and a discharge certificate for ex-serviceman and two copies of the self-attested color photograph.

RPF SI Result 2022

The RPF SI Result will be declared through the official website. It will be made available to candidates through online mode. The result can be checked using the registration ID and password. Candidates need to keep abreast of the latest official declarations.
