UP Board class 10th and class 12th result 2018 declared on the official website.

30 April 2018: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) also known as Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board (UPSEB) has declared the result for class 12th and class 10th board examination 2018 on 29 April as per the schedule declared earlier. This year, the boys have outshined the girls in class 12th results.

Steps to check the UP Board class 12 Result 2018

  • Go to the official website; www.upresults.nic.in.
  • Click on the link “U.P. Board Intermediate (Class XII) Examination – 2018 Results”
  • Enter your roll number and school code.
  • Click on “Submit”
  • Your result will appear.
  • Download and take a print out.

  • Go to the official website; www.upresults.nic.in.
  • Click on the link “U.P. Board Intermediate (Class X) Examination – 2018 Results”
  • Enter your roll number.
  • Click on “Submit”
  • Your result will appear.
  • Download and take a print out.

Results Fact

Class 12th Result

This year, boys outshined girls with 72.43 percent. Rajnish Shukla of Fatehpur and Akash Maurya of Barabanki topped the UP Board with 93.2 percent. The second position was bagged by Ananya Rai from Ghazipu with 92.6 percent.

Class 10th Result

This year, girls outshined boys with 75.16 percent. Anjali Verma has topped the class 10th board exam with 96.33 percent. Yashashvi from Fatehpur ranks second by scoring 94.5 percent while the third position is bagged by Vinay Kumar and Sani Verma with 94.17 percent.

UP Board Exam 2018– Important Facts

  • UP board is the biggest board in India. This year more than 66 lakh students have registered for the board examinations - 29,81,327 students have registered for the Class 12 exams, and 36,55,691 have enrolled for the Class 10 exams.
  • This year, the results will be declared in March for the first time in the history of UP board. Till now results had been announced in May.
  • As reported by the Deputy Chief Minister of the state, Dinesh Sharma, more than 11 lakh students have skipped this year’s examinations. Out of these, 75% students were from neighbouring countries viz. Nepal and Bangladesh.
  • The state government has employed the highest number of special task force and security agencies for smooth and fair completion of the board examinations.
  • For the first time, toppers’ answers will be uploaded online for other students to understand the board’s grading system. This is done to help the students who will be appearing in the exam next year.
  • After result declaration, candidates will have an option to ask for re-checking of their answer sheet if they are not satisfied with their marks.
  • The UP board is planning to make Aadhaar card mandatory for this year’s class 9th and 11th students for filling the class 10th and 12th board exam form respectively. This will avoid the misuse of identity by students in the examinations.
  • Last year, the pass percentage for class 10th was 81.18, and for class, 12th was 82.62. The board members are expecting better numbers this time.
