TISSNET 2018 Results Declared: Score Card Available on the Official Website

TISSNET 2018 results are out. Candidates can check the scores on the official website. PIT/Interview will be held on 27 February, 13, 20 and 26 March 2018.

30 January 2018: Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has declared the result of the National Entrance Test (NET) 2018. The candidates who have appeared for TISSNET 2018 can check their result on the official website; https://appln.tiss.edu/.

Steps to check the TISSNET 2018 results

• Go to the official page; https://appln.tiss.edu/
• Log-in with your registered email id and password to view your score card.
• Download it and take a print out for future references.

The computer based exam was conducted on 6 January 2018 across 39 centres nationwide in order to select candidates for admission into Master’s programmes. It was an objective type test with questions to test candidates’ Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning (30 marks), English Proficiency (30 marks), and General Knowledge (40 marks).

Qualified candidates can now appear in the pre-interview test (PIT) or GD and personal interview. The GD round carries 50 marks and the interview carries 75 marks. Thus the total marks of the exam are 225. There is no provision of negative marking. PIT/Interview will be conducted on 27 February, 13, 20 and 26 March 2018.

Weightage

Following weightage is given to different phases of the exam for selection of candidates:

• NET – 40%
• GD – 30%
• Interview – 30%

Tie-Breaking Criteria

If there is a tie between two candidates, following criteria will be applied:

• The marks obtained by the candidates in the PI round will be compared, the one with more marks will be considered first.
• If the marks in PI are also same, then the marks of PIT (pre-interview test) will be compared. One with better marks will be considered first.
• If the marks in PIT also match, the marks in Entrance test will be compared. Candidate with more marks will be considered.
• If both the candidates have same marks in all the three rounds, the candidate with higher age will be given the seat.

After the completion of selection process, merit list for each programme will be released on the TISSNET 2018 official website. Keep a check.
