SSC JE Paper I Result 2017-18: Steps to Check and other Important Details

04 April 2018: The result of SSC JE Paper I 2017-18 is expected to be released soon. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be declaring the result of Junior Engineers (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Quantity Surveying & Contract) recruitment exam 2018 on 16 April 2018. Candidates can check the result on the official website.

Steps to check the SSC JE Paper I Result 2017-18

  • Go to the official website; http://ssc.nic.in/.
  • Click on ‘Result’ tab at the top of the home-page.
  • A window will appear, click on the relevant link under ‘Result’ column. Make sure the ‘SSC JE’ exam is selected from the tab provided above.
  • The result will appear on the screen; download and take a print out.

The Junior Engineers Examination (Paper I) 2017-18 was conducted from 22 to 29 January 2018. The paper was of 200 marks and two hours duration.

Selection Procedure

The selection process includes two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Candidates are shortlisted by their marks in Paper I and Paper II and recommended for appointment as per their preferences.

The exam dates for SSC JE Paper II 2017-18 are yet to be released by the Staff Selection Board.
