Registration Date Extended For SSC CHSL Exam 2017

The SSC CHSL Exam 2017 registration date has been extended by the Staff Selection Commission.

22 December 2017: The Staff Selection Commission has extended the last date to submit the admission form for the Combined Higher Secondary Level or SSC CHSL exam 2017. The aspirants can register themselves for the exam till 27th December 2017 on the official website at ssc.nic.in.

According to the Official Notification of SSC:

"It has come to the notice of the Commission that due to heavy traffic on the server of the Commission, some candidates are facing problems in submission of online application form for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination, 2017,... Therefore, keeping in view the difficulties being faced by some candidates, the Competent Authority has decided to further extend the closing date for filling up of online application forms for Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination, 2017 to December 27...The candidates may please note that no further extension of time will be given under any circumstances beyond 27.12.2017(5 pm) for submission of online application form to the said Examination”. 

Steps to Apply Online:

  • Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in
  • Select the link ‘Click here to apply’
  • Now the candidate has to fill up the form as required
  • Tap on the Submit button to end the registration procedure.
  • Now the candidate must take a print out of the acknowledgment page for future use.

Application fees for general category male candidate are ₹ 100 and for women, schedule caste, schedule tribe, physically disabled and ex-serviceman candidates, it is free of cost.  According to the SSC notice; "As regards payments made through challan, it is informed that in those cases where the challans have been generated by the aspiring candidates upto 5 pm on December 27, they could make the payment to the designated Branches of SBI using the said challan, within the working hours of the Bank up to 29.12.2017."
