SSC CGL Tier-II exam 2017 result declared. Check out the list of qualified candidates.

09 June 2018: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the result of SSC CGL Tier-II exam 2017 on 06 June 2018. The list of qualified candidates has been released on the official website. Separate lists have been released for the post of AAO (Assistant Audit Officer), JSO (Junior Statistical Officer), and posts other than AAO and JSO. The Computer Based Test (CBT) for Tier II was conducted from 17 to 22 February 2018. The re-examination was also conducted at some venues on 09 March 2018. Candidates can check the result through the steps mentioned below.

Steps to check the SSC CGL Tier II exam 2017 Result

  • Go to the official website - http://ssc.nic.in/.
  • On the home-page, under the ‘Latest News’ section, find the ‘Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017 – Declaration of result of Tier-II for appearing in Tier-III-reg.’ link.
  • Click on the link; you will be re-directed to the result page.
  • Click on ‘click here’ under ‘Result’ column in front of the post you have applied for.
  • A PDF file will open, check your result. You can find your result through your roll number or name.
  • You can take a print out for future reference.

Amendment in the Result

The Commission has also released a corrigendum for few amendments in the SSC CGL Tier II exam 2017 result. As per the official document,

“there are typographic errors in the number of candidates shown as qualified at UR standards as mentioned in List-2 & List-3 under para-2. The said figures may be read as given below:”

*In addition to the number of UR candidates shown above, 1954 OBC, 663 SC, 396 ST, 88 OH and 38 HH candidates are provisionally qualifying at UR standard.

*In addition to the number of UR candidates shown above, 1910 OBC, 655 SC, 393 ST, 80 OH and 38 HH candidates are provisionally qualifying at UR standards.

List-3 (for the posts other than AAO and JSO)

*In addition to the number of UR candidates shown above, 7530 OBC, 1081 SC, 252 ST, 40 Ex-Servicemen, 29 OH, 4 HH and 18 VH candidates are provisionally qualifying at UR standard.

*In addition to the number of UR candidates shown above, 7511 OBC, 1078 SC, 252 ST, 40 Ex-Servicemen, 29 OH, 4 HH and 18 VH candidates are provisionally qualifying at UR standards.

What’s next?

Candidates who have qualified the SSC CGL Tier-II examination have to appear in Tier-III examination. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on 08 July 2018. On the basis of candidates’ performance in Tier-I+ Tier-II+ Tier-III, candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-IV which will be a Computer Proficiency Test/Skill Test (wherever applicable). Document verification will also be done in this phase.
