Additional Result Released for SSC CGL Exam 2012 for 286 Candidates

Additional result list has been released for SSC CGL exam 2012 on the official website. The list includes names of 286 candidates.

16 January 2018: Staff Service Commission (SSC) has released an additional result list for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2012 on the official website. Candidates can check the list at www.ssc.nic.in.

Steps to check the SSC CGL 2012 Additional Result

• Go to the official website; www.ssc.nic.in.
• Click on the “Results” tab on the home page.
• A pop-up window will appear showing the results of various exams. Click on the link “COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL EXAM., 2012 DECLARATION OF RESULT OF CLEARED CASES WHOSE RESULT WAS KEPT WITH HELD”
• Under the ‘Result’ column, hit ‘click here’ link to see the result.

SSC has also released a notification along with the additional results. The notification says that the Commission has conducted Post examination analysis after which the results of some of the candidates who have appeared for the CGL 2012 were withheld. Candidature of these candidates was cancelled and they were debarred (for a specific time) from appearing in the future examinations conducted by the Commission.

Further, the official notification states; “Consequent upon dismissal of SLP No.2836-2838/2017 vide its Order dated 19.07.2017 and dismissal of Review Petition No.2417-2419/2017 vide its Order dated 31.10.2017 by Hon’ble Supreme Court in the matter of Ms.Sudesh Kumari, the Commission, after exercising due diligence, has now decided to declare the result of 286 such candidates of CGLE 2012 to whom relief have been granted by CAT/High Courts. Accordingly, details of the 286 candidates have been uploaded on the website of the Commission, i.e. http://www.ssc.nic.in”

Also, in case of some candidates (who have been granted relief by CAT/High Court) few discrepancies have been found in their documents. As soon as these documents are examined by the Commission, results for such candidates would also be released.

SSC Results in the Past

SSC has declared the results of CGL 2012 (Combined Graduate Level) in May 2013.
