SBI SO Recruitment 2019 – Steps for Online Application Process

The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the official notification for the post of Specialist Officers (SO). All the interested and eligible candidates are required to apply for the prescribed posts through the official website – sbi.co.in. The application process has started on 4^th March 2019.

The applications are invited for a total of 8 vacancies for the following posts:

Steps to apply for SBI SO 2019

• Go to the SBI recruitment page
• Expand the link ‘Recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers in SBI on Contract Basis’ and click on ‘Apply Online’ link.
• Click on ‘Click for New Registration’ button.
• Click on the ‘Continue’ button and enter all the details for registration.
• After registration is complete, you will receive log-in details.
• Go to the candidate’s log-in page again and click on ‘LOGIN if already registered’ button.
• Log-in for filling the application form.
• Complete all the details related to qualification, upload required documents, and make fee payment.
• When the application is submitted successfully, take a print of the confirmation page.

The last date to apply for the SBI SO exam is 24^th March 2019.

Application Fee

The application fee to be paid by candidates is ₹ 600 for General and OBC categories and ₹ 100 for SC/ST/PWD/EWS candidates. The fee can be paid online through Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card. “Application fee once paid will NOT be refunded on any account NOR can it be adjusted for any other examination or selection in future.”

Selection Procedure

Candidates who have applied for the posts will be shortlisted and called for interview. Call letter for the interview will be uploaded on the bank’s official website or sent through email on the candidate’s registered email id. Please note that no hard copy of the call letter will be sent to any candidate.

SBI SO 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

The minimum age limit is 28 years and the maximum age limit is 55 years. Candidates must check the post-specific age limit in the official notification.

Educational Qualification

For Faculty, SBIL, Kolkata (Executive Education): PG in the relevant domain with minimum 55% marks.

For Marketing Executive, SBIL Kolkata: MBA or two years PG Diploma in Marketing with at least 55% marks.
