Indian Railways Recruitment 2018 – Check Application Status for RRB Group C and Group D Posts
The status of applications for RRB Group C and Group D exams has been uploaded on the official websites of RRBs. Candidates can check the same until 20 July.
13 July 2018: The Railway Recruitment Board has activated the link for checking the application status of CEN-01/2018 and CEN-02/2018 on the regional websites of various RRBs. Candidates who have applied for the Group C and Group D posts released by the board can check their application status online. Also, as the board has released the application status, candidates can also expect the announcement of exam dates soon by the recruitment board. As per an interim notice released by the board, the exams for Group C (Auto Loco Pilot & Technicians) and Group D will likely be conducted in August/September. The entire recruitment process will complete by December 2018.
Steps to check the Application Status for Group D exam 2018
- Go to the official website - http://www.indianrailways.gov.in/.
- Click on the ‘Recruitment’ tab, a list of all the RRBs will appear.
- Click on the one you have applied through and you will be redirected to the official website of that respective RRB.
- Find the link for checking the application status. You will also find a statement on the home page regarding same. The statement reads, “The application status of candidates applied against CEN 01/2018 and CEN 02/2018 has been updated. Click on the application status link available against the respective notification. The link shall be live from 12.00 hrs of 11.07.2018 to 23.59 hrs of 20.07.2018.”
- Click on the application status link.
- Click on ‘Candidate Login’ option.
- Select your RRB from the list.
- Enter your registration number, date of birth, and Captcha. Click on ‘Login’ button.
- Your application status will appear.
The last date to check the application status is 20 July 2018 (23.59 hrs). Candidates are advised to check their application status only through their respective RRBs. Through application status, candidates can check whether their application is accepted or rejected.
About Railway Recruitment 2018
Indian Railway Recruitment Board has invited applications for around 90,000 vacancies in Group C and Group D level for the year 2018. A total of 26,502 vacancies will be filled through Group C posts (Auto Loco Pilot & Technicians) and 62,907 vacancies through Group D posts. The board has received nearly 2.37 crore applications for both the levels together.
