East Central Railway has invited application from eligible candidates for 1898 apprentice posts under the Apprentices Act 1961. Check complete details.

02nd February 2018: The Railway Recruitment Board has invited online applications for 1898 Apprentice posts in Dhanbad, Danapur, Mughalsarai and Samastipur divisions of East Central Railways. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website; http://rrcecr.gov.in/.

How to apply for Railway Recruitment 2018?

  • Go to the official website; http://rrcecr.gov.in/.
  • Click on the link “Online applications are invited for engagement of Act Apprentices for Apprenticeship Training under Apprentices Act 1961 over East Central Railway” on the home page.
  • Click on “Click here to proceed for online application” link.
  • Click on “New users click here”.
  • A registration form will open, fill-in the details and click on “Register”.
  • Complete the registration and take a printout of the confirmation page.

Please note: Candidates are required to have Aadhaar Card/Aadhaar Enrolment Number for filling the online application form. However, it is not mandatory for the candidates belonging to J & K, Meghalaya and Assam. They may apply with Passport, voter ID, driving licence or any other valid govt. ID.

Education Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed class X or equivalent examination from a recognised board with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
  • Candidates are also required to possess ITI in the relevant trade from National Council for Vocational Training

Age Limit

Candidates should have attained the age of 15 years and should not exceed 24 years of age as on 30th January 2018.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit list prepared by giving equal weightage to marks in class X and ITI course.
