NIOS D.El.Ed. Second Year Registration Started – Make Fee Payment till 07 July
The online fee payment process for the second year of the NIOS D.El.Ed. The programme has started on the official website.
08 June 2018: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has started the fee payment process for the second year registration of D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education.) Teachers who are already enrolled in the course can pay the fee through the official website - http://dled.nios.ac.in/. More than 12 lakh untrained teachers across the country have appeared for the first year examination of the 2 years Diploma programmes in Elementary Education which was conducted by the NIOS.
Fee for Second Year Registration
As per the official notice the registration for the second-year of the D.El.Ed. course will be done only through the online mode. The fee for second-year registration is ₹ 6000/-. The fee can be paid till 07 July 2018.
How to pay NIOS D.El.Ed. 2nd Year Registration Fee?
Follow the steps to make fee payment:
- Go to the official website - http://dled.nios.ac.in/.
- Click on the link “Online Submission of II Year Registration Fees (Only for already registered Teachers)” on the home-page.
- Enter your enrollment number and click ‘Submit’.
- You will be re-directed to the online payment page.
- Make payment and once the payment is successful, a message will appear.
- You can take the print out of the payment confirmation message.
Please note: If payment amount has been debited from your account but the status of the payment has not been updated, you should wait for 1 hour and not make another payment. Check the payment status after 1 hour through your enrollment number.
If at any time you want to check the status of your payment, enter your enrollment number.
About NIOS D.El.Ed.
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has started the D.El.Ed. Programme for untrained in-service teachers working in primary and upper primary schools across the country. This is done to help teachers meet the rule of the Right to Education Act. As per the Act, it is mandatory for the teachers to gain professional capabilities. Thus, approximately 14 lakh untrained teachers are required to clear the D.El.Ed. Programmes by March 2019 else they might lose their jobs. A total of 12,62,044 teachers have enrolled for the NIOS D.El.Ed. Programme.
