DU Admissions 2018-2019 – New Features Added in the Online Application Form

Delhi University added new features to its online application form for UG admissions 2018-19.

27 April 2018: Delhi University (DU) has announced few new additions/features in its online application form for 2018-2019 admissions as per an official Press Release.

New Features in the DU Online Application Form

  • Applicants can now register for both entrance-based and merit-based courses through a single application on the same portal.
  • As most of the applicants are from the CBSE board, the details of their class XII marks will be automatically fetched from the database provided by the board. Candidates are required to enter their roll number and other information.
  • A new course has been added to the online portal – Five-year integrated course in Journalism.
  • Candidates who are applying under sports category can now upload their three best certificates instead of one. These certificates are to be uploaded as separate documents.

Pre-admission Interaction and Orientation Programme

The University is also conducting a two-day pre-admission interaction and orientation programme between 27 and 28 April from 10 AM onwards. The venue for the orientation programme is Conference Centre, near Gate Number 4, North Campus. Prospective students and their parents can take part in the programme.

Delhi University Registrar, Tarun Das said, "The main objective of the two-day programme is to familiarise aspirants about the online registration process and admissions in the undergraduate course during 2018-19, particularly in the context of some new features added in the application form this year."

Delhi University UG Admission Schedule

The online registration process for DU UG admission will begin from 2nd week of May 2018. Candidates can apply for the same till 4th week of May. The exam will be conducted in the 3rd or 4th week of June, and the result will be announced in the 1st week of July 2018. Candidates can check the results through the official website of the Delhi University.
