CLAT Exam 2018 The Test Date Released

The examination date for the CLAT Exam 2018 is published on the official website.

23 December 2017: The Common Law Admission Test or CLAT exam 2018 will be held on 13th May. The exam will be conducted by the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi.

CLAT Exam is the selection procedure for the under-graduate and post-graduate programs in Law for the 19 Law Universities of India. The registration process will be started from 1st January 2018. The notification will be declared on the official website soon along with the brochure.

The mode of the exam will be online and the duration of the exam will be 2 hours. There is no age limit for the examination this year. The notification as published on the newspaper listed all the required qualifications of the candidates.      

For the undergraduate course which is a five years integrated Law Degree, the general candidates must have to pass 12th standard examination with minimum 45% marks in all categories. For the SC and ST candidates the minimum marks will be 40%.

And for the post-graduate program which is a one year LLM degree, the general candidates must have LLB degree with at least 55% marks except for the SC and ST categories in which they have to obtain 50% marks in LLB.
