CBSE Confirmed Board Exam for Class 10 & 12 in March
The CBSE confirms the class 10 and 12 Board exam will be scheduled in March.
20 December 2017: The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE has confirmed that the Board exam of class 10 and 12 will be conducted in March 2018. They have scheduled the examination earlier to ensure timely and quality assessment of the answer scripts.
The date sheet for the AISSE and AISSCE is expected to be released on 10th January, 2018. A CBSE correspondence for a leading school in New Delhi confirmed that the Board exam will take place from 1st March.
But the main confusion on the part of the students is about the Holi festival falling on 2nd March. They are wondering whether the CBSE board will reconsider the date for commencement of the examination and proponed it from 26th February.
The Two Major Factors of Concern with the Date for Board Exam
- There is no date gap after the Holi festivals
- Large gap due to the legislative elections scheduled in two states.
In 2017, the class 12 exams were conducted from 9th March to 29 April and the class 10 exams were taken place on 9th March to 10th April.
