7 December 2017: The expected date for the Common Admission Test or Cat exam 2017 result is January 9, 2018. According to the official notification, the candidates can expect the result on second week of January. The result will be displayed on the official website of CAT which is www.iimcat.ac.in.
Steps to Check the Result Online:
- Visit the official website for CAT exam
- Now select the link ‘CAT Results 2017’
- Insert the required documents in the given fields
- Click on the Submit button
- The result will be displayed on the screen
- Take a print out for the future reference
The exam was held on 26th November, 2018 in two slots.
Exam paper analysis of Slot 1:
The paper pattern for the slot 1 of the CAT exam followed the pattern style of CAT 2016. As IIM Lucknow did not disclose the number of question this year, it was a big sigh of relief for all the candidates that the number of questions across all the sections.

There was also no surprise for this slot. The pattern follows the line of the forenoon slot as well as the CAT 2016 slot.
