AICTE Announces Scholarships For Differently Abled Students In Technical Education

AICTE is offering 1000 scholarships to the differently abled students for Technical Education.

29 November 2017: The All India Council for Technical Education or AICTE announces to offer 1000 scholarship to the differently abled students. This scholarship is exclusively for the technical education on the basis of the merit and brilliance of the students. It is an opportunity for the students to pursue higher study and lead a successful life. All of the candidates must be the graduation students of AICTE. The last date of application submission is 30th November 2017.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. All the applicants must be pursuing degree or diploma course under AICTE in their first year.
  2. The total family income must be less than 8 lakh per annum
  3.  The students with at least 40% disability can apply for the scholarship

Scholarship:

The selected students will get up to ₹ 30,000 as the tuition fees and ₹ 2000 per month as contingency allowance for 10 months. Apart from that, ₹ 30,000 will be given to purchase of books, laptop, software, desktop, equipment, vehicle, fees for the competitive examination application forms, examination, specific equipment, software for visually impaired, speech and hearing impaired.
