Aadhaar Card Has Become Mandatory for NEET exam 2018

13 December 2017: The Central Board of Secondary Education of CBSE has made Aadhaar card mandatory for the registration of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET exam 2018. The candidates who want to appear for this national level medical entrance examination have to furnish their Unique Identification (UID) number while registering for the examination.

As per the report; ‘The board will be validating the information provided by the applicant with the government’s Aadhaar database and if the particulars do not match, the applicant will not be allowed to fill the online form.

If the candidate has no Aadhaar card, then he or she must visit the nearest enrollment centre for Aadhaar card apply for the same. Then they have to insert the enrollment number in the given space. The candidates waiting to receive their cards can also insert the enrollment number. If there is any mistake in the Aadhaar card like spelling or any other details which does not match with the other submitted documents, then the candidates have to apply for a correction in the enrollment centre and insert the correction application form number in the given space.
