
CBSE publishes NEET 2017 cut off marks along with the final result. For this year NEET 2017 exam’s the result, and cut-off marks will be declared on June 8th, 2017. In the result, the board announces candidate’s scores, rank and the cut-off marks.
The cut-off marks are the minimum marks which should be scored by the candidate to get qualified in the exam. The cut-off marks are influenced by some factors, like, number of candidates appearing for the exam, seat availability, difficulty level of exam and previous year cut-off marks for the exam. On the basis of cut-off marks, final merit list of the qualified candidates is prepared, and counselling is done.

In the NEET 2016 exam, the total number of candidates appeared for the exam were around 7 lakhs. Out of which approximately 4 lakhs and 30,000 candidates qualified in the exam and nearly 19,000 candidates were selected in the 15% All India Quota seats.
