Question 1: What is the number of vacancies to be filled by the NDA & NA exam?

The NDA & NA I Exam 2020 will fill a total of 418 vacancies (370 in NDA and 48 in NA).

Question 2: When can candidates access the NDA 2020 application form?

The application process for NDA & NA (I) 2020 has already started on the official website (from January 08, 2020). For NDA (II), candidates can submit the applications from 10th June 2020.

Question 3: What is the procedure to fill the NDA & NA application form 2020?

Online. The application form will be available on the authorised website of UPSC.

Question 4: I’ve done mere 10+2. Am I eligible to apply for the recruitment test?

If you are applying for Naval and Air Force, the minimum educational qualification required is 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. For the Armed Force, passing 10+2 exam or equivalent would work. Candidates appearing in the 10+2 exam in 2020 can also apply.

Question 5: What happens if a candidate submits more than one application?

In such cases, the last submitted application (with correct details) will be accepted.

Question 6: What are the documents required to upload during the application process?

Only the digital images of the photograph and signature.

Question 7: After submitting the form, do I need to take a print and send it to the officials by post?

Not required!

Question 8: My forefathers came to India before 1960. Now I’m a resident of India. Can I apply for the NDA exam?

Yes, you can.

Question 9: What is the NDA exam pattern?

The NDA exam will comprise of the written exam and interview phase. The written exam will be conducted for Mathematics and General Ability.

Question 10: When will the NDA & NA 2020 exam commence?

The NDA & NA (I) 2020 exam will be held on 19th April and the NDA (II) exam will be conducted on 6th September 2020.
