Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) is the exam-conducting body of MHT CET 2019.

MHT CET 2019 Latest Notification – The MH CET 2019 exam schedule will be released by DTE. It is expected that the Authority will begin the registration process in the third week of January 2019. MHT CET 2019 Exam Pattern -

The MHTCET exam consists of 3 papers. The Paper I and II are compulsory for candidates willing to take up the engineering course. An applicant seeking admission to Pharm. D degree course is required to appear for Paper I and/or Paper III as well as Paper II. The pen and paper mode exam will have objective type questions.

MHTCET 2019 Syllabus -

The MHTCET Syllabus 2019 will comprise the study structure or curriculum of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. 80% weightage will be given to XII standard curriculum, while 20% weightage will be given to the standard XI curriculum. This means you will mainly have to study topics from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. You need to plan your preparation strategy as per the chapters and topics prescribed by the Directorate.

MHT CET Exam 2019 Eligibility

The eligibility criteria of Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2019 constitute information about the educational qualification of the candidates, their age, nationality, etc. These measures would determine whether they can go ahead with the application process or not. Let’s take a quick look at some of the important MHCET 2019 eligibility criterions.

  • Nationality: The applicants should be citizens of India.
  • Academic Qualification: They should have passed Class 12th or equivalent test from a recognised University/ Board in PCM or PCB subjects.
  • Minimum Marks: To be eligible for MH CET 2019, the minimum mark you need to score in the 12th standard is 50%. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories need to possess 40% marks in aggregate.
  • Qualifying Exam: The candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in 2019 are also eligible to apply.
  • Age Limit: No age bar for the MHTCET exam.

Note: Students from the overseas countries (NRI, PIO, OCI, Gulf Countries, etc.) can get direct admissions to the technical colleges without appearing in the exam. However, such candidates must have passed the minimum qualifying exam with the required marks.

MHT CET Exam 2019 Application Process

The application form of the MHTCET 2019 exam can only be filled online. It will be available in the third week of January 2019. Read the instructions carefully before remitting the application fee amount. Forms submitted without the required fee amount will be rejected.

MHT-CET 2019 Exam Application Process -

  • Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the MHTCET.
  • Click on the registration page and fill in the fields with details like name, address, mobile number and valid email id.
  • Upon registration, the login ID and password will be sent on the registered email id.
  • With the login credentials, candidates can get access to the application form.
  • Fill all the necessary columns with appropriate details.
  • Upload the scanned copies of photograph, signature and educational documents.
  • Remit the application fee amount as prescribed by DTE.
  • Take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

The scanned copies should be in JPEG/JPG format. The size of the photograph and signature should be between 15KB to 50 KB and between 5KB to 20 KB respectively.

MHTCET 2019 Admit Card

After the successful completion of the registration process, DTE will release the MHT CET admit cards 2019 for the candidates. The hall tickets need to be downloaded online from the MHTCET official website from mid-April to mid-May 2019. The candidates should use their login details to download their admit cards.

The call letter will carry information such as the candidate’s name, roll number, date of the exam, time and address of the examination centre. It is mandatory to produce one photo identity card along with the admit card at the examination centre. The identity card can be

MHTCET Answer Key 2019

Soon after the exam is over, the Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai will release the MHTCET 2019 answer key along with the OMR sheet on the official website. With the help of the answer key and OMR sheet, the candidates can get a tentative idea about the marks they will get in the exam. The answer key can be accessed using the login credentials – registration ID and password.

MHTCET Result 2019

The result will be declared on the Internet on the official website in the first week of June 2019. The merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the exam. It is advised to take a print copy of the result/marks and keep it safe until the completion of the admission procedure.
