MHT CET Exam

The MHTCET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is a state level entrance exam. It is organised by the Government of Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell for admission in the Maharashtra technical colleges. The exam is conducted for admission in UG courses in Engineering/Technology, Pharmacy and professional degree courses in Agriculture. However, after the Supreme Court ruling admissions in the Maharashtra Medical admissions are done only on the basis of the NEET score.

The MHTCET exam consists of 3 papers. It has objective type questions. Those candidates who want to take admission in the Engineering course should compulsorily take the Paper -1 and Paper-2.

MHT CET Exam 2018 Eligibility

  • The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
  • He/ She should have done Class 12thor equivalent from any recognised University/ Board in PCM or PCB subjects.
  • The candidates appearing in the final year exams are also eligible to apply.
  • No age bar for the MHTCET exam.

MHT CET Exam 2018 Application Process

The application form for the MHTCET 2018 Exam can be filled online. The candidates avail the application form from 18 January 2018 until 25 March 2018. Candidates can also apply on later dates from 26 March to 31 March with the late fee of ₹ 500.

How To Apply

  • A candidate can apply online by visiting the official website of the MHTCET.
  • By clicking on the official link, the candidate will be directed to the registration page.
  • A candidate should get registered by filling his/ her details - Name, Address, Mobile number and valid Email id.
  • Upon registration, the login ID and Password will be sent to candidate’s email id.
  • With the login credentials, candidates can get access to the application form.
  • A candidate should fill all the necessary columns of the application form.
  • A candidate should also upload the scanned copies of his/ her Photograph, Signature and educational documents along with the application form.
  • The scanned copies should be in JPEG/JPG format. The dimensional size of the Photograph should be between 15KB to 50 KB, and the signature should be between 5KB to 20 KB.
  • A candidate should also pay the application fee.
  • He/ She should take the print out of the confirmation page.

Other Details

MHTCET 2018 Exam: Admit Card

The admit cards can be downloaded online from the MHTCET official website from 24 April to 10 May 2018. The candidates should use their login details to download their admit cards. The admit card contains, the candidate’s Name, Roll Number, Date of the exam, Time and address of the examination center. It is mandatory to carry one’s identity card along with the admit card in the examination center. The Identity Card can be Voter Id, Aadhar Card, Passport, PAN Card, Driving License, Bank Pass Book with a photograph, recent id proof issued by the college or institution or being signed by the Gazetted officer.

MHTCET 2018 Exam: Result

The result will be declared on or before 03 June 2018. The candidates can see their result online on the MHTCET official website. The merit list is prepared from the marks obtained by the candidates in the exam. A candidate should take the print copy of his/ her result and keep it safe until the completion of the exam procedure.
