Eligibility
Education background
- In order to get admission, the eligibility criteria for PGDM Programmes is that a participant must possess a bachelor’s equivalent degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline, from a recognized university in India or abroad (which should be recognized by the UGC / Association of Indian Universities)
- Though, the final selection would be based up on the higher cut-off percentage depending on the total number of applicants for the programme applied for a session. Here, it should be specify that the bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years education as 10+2+3 format, after completing higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or equivalent manner
- Along this, students who are appearing in the final year of their bachelor’s degree or equivalent are also eligible to apply for the PGDM course, with the furnish proof of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria by September 30, 2018. This would be a provisional admission, so students who are unable to comply with this requirement are liable to be rejected from the programme and there would be no refund
- This is required by the applicant to complete all academic requirements before enrolling for the programme to help them keep pace with the rigour and assessment parameters of the programme effectively

Participant profile
This is a post graduate program in the management so participants could be fresh graduates and/or with relevant work experience from any discipline including Engineering, Humanities, Commerce, Economics, Medicine or any other branch of education are invited with completing the basic educational qualification requirements
Application form
The students need to fill the application form with the required fee as mentioned accordingly. You can download IMI admission Bulletin from website www.imi.edu
Also the application forms are available at http://admission.imi.edu and must be submitted online.
There is no offline form, so you need to complete it online only.
There would be an admission application fee, which is non-refundable to be paid online with completely filling the online application form and submit it along with the. The application form will cost ₹ 2000/- for an applicant desirous of applying to any one of the two-Year Programmes of IMI Delhi. In case, if the applicant wish to apply for more than one programmes, then s(he) is required to pay ₹500/- additionally for each programme.
Candidates can pay the admission fee through Credit Card/ Debit Card/Bank Transfer through the designated payment gateway. There would be no physical receipt for the same; you can keep the online printout. The completed application form with fee should be submitted online by midnight of December 4, 2017; after that there would be no application submission.
Admission Process
The admission in IMI will be considered when you appear in CAT of IMI or with a decent GMAT score.
CAT
The admission in PGDM programme is through the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by The Indian Institute of Management at different centers all across the country. However, IMI will also consider the test scores from the IIM for those candidates who have appeared in the CAT examination and have also applied to IMI for the PGDM programmes.
GMAT
GMAT is for foreign students, PIO and NRI sponsored candidates, based on their GMAT scores, provided they have taken the GMAT test not earlier than January 2016 and not later than 20th January 2018.
But, Indian residents who have appeared for GMAT, not earlier than January 2016 and not later than 20th January 2018 are also eligible to apply.
Candidates need to submit the self attested copy of their GMAT score card while applying and in the personal interview too. The GMAT scores without the above document will not be accepted and the application is likely to get rejected.
Final Selection
The final selection of candidates will be based on 10th, 10+2, graduation marks and performance in Extempore, Psychometric Test, Essay Writing and Personal Interview.
Admission Offer
The admission offer will be based on a compound score achieved after the assessment has been made during the various stages of the selection process, and documents defined above. The final result and admission details will be announced through an Admission Portal and will be notified on the IMI, New Delhi to the selected candidates. So, applicants are advised to mention their complete postal address and active email ID which should be valid up to 30th June 2018 for receiving important communications from IMI.
