AIMA MAT Changes Made in the Year 2020

In 2020, the exam conducting authority postponed PBT and CBT 2020 exams and allowed candidates to switch over to the Remote Proctored Internet-Based Test (MAT IBT) exam from PBT and CBT MAT.

  • All candidates who registered and applied for CBT or PBT MAT exam can convert their registration to the MAT IBT exam by visiting the official MAT Registration site.
  • The reason to launch MAT 2020 IBT mode (home-based exam) is to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 infection among students.
  • AIMA has clarified that computer-based and paper-based MAT exam dates will be announced later after considering the prevailing COVID-19 situation at that time. Till then, candidates are requested to use IBT mode.
  • Students who do not want to opt for IBT Mode may choose to take the PBT/CBT MAT in forthcoming sessions.
