KSP Constable - Selection Procedure 2022

The selections procedure for the KSP Constable post involves three stages:

1. Written examination
2. Physical Standards Test and Endurance Test
3. Medical Test and Document Verification

Candidates who qualify in one stage are called for the next stage.

KSP Constable Recruitment - Exam Pattern

The pattern for the written examination is as under:

100 multiple-choice questions are asked from the following sections:

Exam Duration - 1.5 hours

Marking Scheme - 1 mark for every correct answer and -0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.

Minimum Qualifying Marks  - 30% of the total marks

KSRP Recruitment Syllabus

General Knowledge/ Awareness - History, Geography, General Science, Constitution of India, Indian Independence, Current Affairs.

Mental Ability - Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Puzzles, Data Interpretation, Para Jumble.

Candidates are advised to solve as many questions as they can from the above-mentioned topics. Only practice will help you gain speed and confidence.

KSRP Recruitment 2022 Eligibility

Candidates must make sure that they meet the eligibility conditions for the post before applying for the same. Here are the details:

Age Limit

• Minimum Age - 19 years
• Maximum Age - 25 years
• Age relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to reserved category candidates. For those belonging to SC, ST, CAT-01, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B categories, the maximum age limit is 27 years and for the tribal category, it is 30 years.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed PUC/ class 12th from CBSE/ ICSE/ SSE or equivalent examination.

Steps To Apply

• Scroll down and proceed to the ‘Click Here To Register’ link in front of the Constable post recruitment.
• Read the instructions carefully and click the ‘New Application’ link.
• Fill in all the details asked for and upload the required documents as per the specifications.
• Make the application fee payment.
• Submit the application form and take a print of the application form.

Documents to be Uploaded

Scanned images of the following documents are required in .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, and .png format:

• Recent passport size photograph (400 x 400 pixels, size 250 KB)
• Candidate’s Signature (400 x 100 pixels, size 250 KB)
• Identity Card (400 x 300 pixels, size 250 KB)
• Dependent Certificate (400 x 300 pixels, size 250 KB) - if applicable

KSRP Constable Vacancies

KSRP has not released the vacancies for the year 2022. A total of 4000 vacancies are announced through the constable recruitment drive in the year 2021. The detailed distribution of vacancies in the year 2021 is as under:

KSP Constable Recruitment - Admit Card

Admit Card/ Hall Ticket for the KSP Constable recruitment can be downloaded from the official website. It is a mandatory document for entering the examination hall. As per the authority’s instructions, no candidate will be allowed to sit for the exam without the admit card. The hall ticket can be easily downloaded from the official website using the login credentials. Candidates must take a print on a clean, white paper and keep it safe until the recruitment process is over.

KSP Constable Result 2022

The KSP constable result will be announced on the official website. The result is declared three-four weeks after the examination. The result displays the name and roll numbers of candidates qualifying for the next stage of the selection process. Candidates need to access the result file on the official website and search for their name/ roll number in the file. If it appears in the file, the candidate has qualified the written phase. Such candidates are required to participate in the subsequent selection rounds.
