About the JNU CBEE Exam

Details

Number of sections

2 Sections, namely Part -1 and Part-2.

Name of Papers

The Part -1 will have question paper based on Class 12th level subjects –Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.

The Part -2 will have question paper based on the Graduation level subjects –Verbal, Reasoning Ability and Comprehension.

Number of questions

The Part -1 will have 60 questions of 60 marks.

Part -2 will have 180 questions.

Duration of the Exam

2 hours.

Scheme of Negative marking

In Part -1, 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

In Part-2, 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.


JNU CBEE Exam 2018 Eligibility

Age Limit – There is no age limit for the JNU CBEE exam.

Educational Qualification –

·     A candidate should be Graduate under the 10+2+3 system with one of the following subjects – Medicine (in MBBS/BDS), Veterinary Science, Biology, Agriculture, Fishery Science, Pharmacy, Engineering/ Technology or B.Sc in Physician Assistance course.

·     The final year candidates are also eligible to apply for the exam.

·     A candidate should have a minimum score of 50% marks in graduation to become eligible for the exam.

Candidates can avail the application form both online and offline from February 6th, 2018.

·     Candidates can get the application form online from official website of the JNU, jnu.ac.in.

·     The application form can be downloaded from the JNU official website.

·     Candidates should fill all specified columns of the application form carefully. A candidate should provide personal and educational details in the application form.

·     Candidates should attach the copies of their10th, 12th, and graduation marks sheets and Certificates. The candidates who belong to the SC/ST/OBC category should attach their category - certificate along with the application form.

·     Along with the application form DD drawn in favour of JNU at the below-mentioned address should be sent. The address is

Application Fee

The application fee should be sent in the form of the Demand Draft drawn in favour of JNU at the address above.

·     For General category candidates, the application fee is ₹ 340.

·     For the Reserved category candidates, it is ₹260.

The duly filled in application form along with the application fee should reach at the given address before the last date of the submission of the application form.

JNU CBEE 2018 Exam: Admit Card

The admit cards will be available online in April. Candidates can download their admit card from the official website of the JNU. No hard copy of the admit card will be sent to the applicants at their residential address. They are required to download their admit card from the official website of the JNU. For downloading the admit card, candidates should fill their registration number and date of birth. They should take its print copy.
