JNU CBEE is one of the popular Bio-Technology exam of India. It is conducted by JNU for admission into M.Sc (Bio-Technology) or M.Tech (Bio-Technology) course in the JNU and many other participating institutions. In order to know more about JNU CBEE exam, read below –


Eligibility for JNU CBEE Exam

Age Limit – There is no age limit put by the JNU for appearing in the JNU CBEE exam.

Educational Qualification –

Candidate should have done the Graduation under the 10+2+3 system. In the Bachelor’s degree candidate should have taken one of the following subject – Medicine( in MBBS/BDS), Veterinary Science,Biology, Agriculture, Fishery Science, Pharmacy, Engineering/ Technology or B.Sc in Physician Assistance course.

Those candidates who are appearing in their final year exams are also eligible to apply for the exam.

A candidate should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in his graduation to become eligible for the exam.

The application form will be available from February 6th, 2017.Candidates can avail the application form from both online as well offline mode.

How To Apply

Candidate can get the online application form from official website of the JNU, jnu.ac.in.The application form can be downloaded from the official website and filled.

Candidate should be careful while filling the application form. One should fill all the necessary details in the application form- Name, Address, Parent detail, Date of Birth, Educational qualification etc.

After filling the application form it should be attached with the Mark sheet and Certificate of the 10th, 12th, and Graduation. Those candidate who belongs to the SC/ST/OBC category should attach theircategory - certificate along with the application form.

Along with the application form DD drawn in favor of JNU at the below mentioned address should be sent. The address is

Application Fee

Along with the application form it is necessary to send the requisite application fee. The application fee is Rs. 340 for General category of candidate and it is Rs.260 for the reserved category of candidate. It should be sent in the form of the Demand Draft drawn in favor of JNU at the aforesaid address. The duly filled in application form along with the application fee should reach at the given address before the last date of the submission of the application form.

About the JNU CBEE Exam

Details

Number of sections

2 Sections, namely Part -1 and Part-2.

Name of Papers

The Part -1 will have question paper based on 12th level subjects –Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

The Part -2 will have question paper based on Graduation level subjects –Verbal, Reasoning Ability and Comprehension.

Number of questions

The Part -1 will have 60 questions of 60 marks.

Part -2 will have 180 questions.

Duration of the Exam

2 hours.

Scheme of Negative marking

In Part -1, 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

In Part-2, 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Admit Card

The admit card for the JNU CBEE 2017 exam will be available online in the month of April. Candidate can download their admit card from the official website of the JNU. No hard copy of the admit card will be sent to the applicants at their residential address. They are required to download the admit card from the official website of the JNU. In order to download the admit card candidate should fill their registration number and date of birth. Its print copy should be taken by candidates. They should carry their admit card at their examination centre. Without admit card candidate will not be allowed to take their exam.

Result

The result for the JNU CBEE will declared soon after the conduction of the exam. Candidate will be able to check their result online. JNU will give the official link to get the result. Candidate will be able to see their result by entering their Roll Number.
