Marking Scheme - Each question will be 1 mark, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.

GUJCET 2023 Syllabus

There is no specified syllabus for the exam. Questions are asked from the curriculum of class XI and class XII. Candidates can prepare for the exam with JEE's Main competitive books. Some of the good books for the GUJCET exam are:

GUJCET Exam 2023 Eligibility

The eligibility conditions need to be fulfilled in order to appear for the GUJCET exam. Candidates must check the respective eligibility criteria for the courses they are interested in before applying for the exam.

Nationality

Candidates must be of Indian nationality.

State Eligibility

Candidates must be a bonafide residents of Gujarat. If the candidate has a domicile of Gujarat and is residing in some other place out of the state, he/she is eligible for the exam.

Course-Specific Eligibility Conditions

For B.Tech. Program

Academic Qualification

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent level education from the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board or any other recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category).

Candidates appearing in the final examination of class 12th are also eligible for the exam.

For B.Pharma Program

Academic Qualification

Candidates should have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) level of education from the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board/ CBSE/ CISCE/ NIOS/ International School Board. Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying exam are also eligible to fill out the application form. The minimum marks required in the qualifying exam are 45% (40% for the reserved category candidates).

GUJCET Exam 2023 Application Process

The application process for the GUJCET 2023 exam began on 6th January 2023. Candidates can submit the application form by 31st January 2023. The application process will be online, and candidates must apply within the specified time. Do check the eligibility conditions before moving ahead with the application process.

Steps to apply for the GUJCET 2023 Exam

  • Visit the official website - https://gujcet.gseb.org.
  • Click on the link for the GUJCET application form.
  • Enter the details to complete the registration process.
  • After registration, you will receive the login details.
  • Now again, visit the candidates’ log-in section and enter the log-in details to access the application form.
  • Enter your personal details, academic details, and other details to complete the application form.
  • Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature.
  • After checking all the details in the application form, move ahead with the application fee payment. The application fee for all categories is the same. Candidates are required to pay ₹ 300 as the application fee.
  • On successful fee payment, submit the form.
  • The application number will generate on submission of the form, not down for future reference.

GUJCET Exam 2023 Other Details

GUJCET Admit Card 2023

  • The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board will release the admit card for its common entrance test (GUJCET) 2023 in February 2023 on its official website.
  • Candidates can download the admit card only through the official website using their login ID and password.
  • The admit card will appear on the screen. Download it and take a print.
  • Carry the admit card to the examination hall for making entry to the hall.
  • Keep the admit card safe till the admission process gets over.

Here’s how you can download GUJCET 2023 hall ticket easily:

  • Visit the official website of GUJCET.
  • On the homepage, click on the Download admit card link.
  • Key in your registered mobile number and date of birth and captcha.
  • Your admit card will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download and take its printout.

The GUJCET 2023 admit card will include the important details of the applicant and exam, including the name and roll number of the students, the name of the examinations, subjects appearing for, examination details, photograph and signature image of the candidates, examination center details and the instructions to be followed by the students.

Candidates are also required to carry with them an ID proof, and their photograph along with the GUJCET admit card.

GUJCET Answer Key 2023

  • The GUJCET 2023 answer key will be released on the official website.
  • Candidates can check the answer key and analyze their results for the state entrance exam.
  • Applicants are also provided with an opportunity (for two or three days) to raise objections against it.
  • After considering the objections, the updated (final) answer key is released on the official website.
  • The merit list/ result is declared on the basis of the final answer key. No objections against the final key will be considered.

Candidates can submit their objections through the GUJCET 2023 objection-raising window till the specified date. More than this, applicants who are unsatisfied with the released answer key need to submit ₹ 500 per challenge they raise against the answer key.

  • GUJCET 2023 Results will be released in May 2023.

GUJCET Result 2023 – Tie Breaking Policy

The eligible criteria for deciding the GUJCET merit list in case of the candidates have equal scores will be completed based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying in the following sequences, namely:

GUJCET 2023 Counselling

  • The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) will start the GUJCET 2023 Counselling registration in May 2023.

  • The counselling process/ seat allotment will begin in the first week of August and will continue until the third week of August 2023.
  • Seats are allotted on the basis of a merit list and choice filled by the candidates during registration.
  • Candidates must freeze the allotted seat and report to the allotted college to confirm their admission.
