The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the result of University Grants Commission’s National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) 2017 on 29 May (Monday). The examination held on 22 January, 2017.

Candidates can check the results here (http://cbseresults.nic.in/UGCpxy/net_jan2017.htm). Enter your Application number, Roll number and date of birth as mentioned on your admit card. Submit the details to check the results. You can also check the subject-wise cut-off list.

The UGC-NET exam is organized to check eligibility of post graduate candidates for the posts assistant professor and Junior Research Fellowship. It includes three papers; the first one to check general awareness, logical reasoning and teaching aptitude and the last two papers to check the subject knowledge.

CBSE UGC NET 2017 Results Declared

The award of JRF or the eligibility of Assistant Professor depends upon candidates’ performance in all three papers. 55% in master’s degree is the eligibility criteria for NET. The exam is conducted twice a year. Complete details can be found on official website of CBSE UGC-NET.
