The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the online registration window for class 9th and 11th regular students studying in CBSE affiliated schools.
27 September 2017: The online registration process for class 9th and 11th students has started on the official website of the CBSE board; www.cbse.nic.in. The registration is being done for class 10th and 12th board examinations, while the examinations for class 9th and 11th will be held internally by the schools.
All CBSE affiliated schools are required to register themselves before moving ahead with the online registration process. After successful registration, the schools are required to use the user ID (Affiliation Number) and password for students’ registration.
The schools which got recently affiliated to the board are directed to contact the concerned Regional Office of the board in order to get their login credentials.
As per the official notification; "After receipt of password schools are advised to change the password for future use and keep confidential to avoid misuse. In the event of any difficulty, concerned Regional Office may be contacted as per jurisdiction/contact details given in the Annexure"
All schools have to enter the number of sections/strength for registration. In this regard, the notice says; "This information should be first decided before starting online registration. This information should be filled very carefully as schools will not be allowed to change the declared section/strength afterwards. System will automatically multiply the number of section entered by 40. Thereafter school can start entering candidate details"
The board also notified that the exams for class 9 will be conducted internally and the Marksheet will also be issued by the school. The marks of class 10th internal assessment will be collected by the CBSE board through online mode.
