Syllabus for Banaras Hindu University LLB 2022

There is no specific syllabus for the BHU LLB exam. As per the previous years’ papers, candidates must refer to topics related to general knowledge, current affairs, common legal knowledge, aptitude topics, and reading comprehension.

BHU LLB Entrance Exam 2022 Eligibility

For LLB (Hons.) - 3 Years

• B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. / Shastri (10+2+3 pattern) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (combining all three years).

Or

• Any other degree under the 10+2+3 pattern from an institute recognised by the Bar Council of India. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

For BA LLB (Hons) - 5 Years

• Completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised institute of India or a foreign country (recognised by the Government of that country). Minimum marks in the qualifying exam must be 50% (General category), 45% (OBC), and 40% (SC/ ST).

BHU LLB Entrance Exam 2022 Application Process

The BHU Law admission 2022 application forms will be made available online at the official website of the University. Interested candidates must submit the application form well in time. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form.

• Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking details
• Scanned image of recent Photograph (.jpg format, 100KB size, 4.5cm x 3.5cm)
• Scanned image of Signature (.jpg format, 100KB size, 4.5cm x 3.5cm)

Steps to Apply for BHU LLB 2022

• Visit the online portal of BHU at bhuonline.in.
• Click the Apply for Admission button.
• Now, click on the ‘Register Yourself’ link.
• The registration form will appear on the screen, fill in all the details asked for and click on the Sign-Up button.
• An email message will be sent to your provided email Id and a validation code will be sent to your mobile number. Click on the validation link sent via email and enter the code sent on mobile. This will confirm your BHU LLB 2022 registration.
• Now, log in using your details and complete the identification information, course type, course name, etc.
• Fill in the application details such as educational qualification, nationality, communication address, and more.
• Click Save & Continue.
• Upload the documents in the prescribed format and click ‘Save & Continue’.
• Select test mode and test center. The exam is conducted in both online and offline modes. Candidates will be allowed to provide 5 test city choices in order of their preference.
• Now, check all the details carefully and tick the declaration box before hitting the ‘Submit’ button.
• After submitting the form, you will be redirected to the application fee submission page.
• Make the fee payment via your preferred mode - online or offline.
• Take the printout of the payment receipt.

Application Status

To know the application status, click on the ‘My Application’ section in the BHU portal. This section will appear only after the application is submitted successfully. If the application status is ‘OK’ and the payment section shows the payment ID, it means the application is submitted successfully.

BHU LLB Application Fee

The BHU LLB application fee can be paid through both online and offline modes. Through online mode, the fee can be submitted using a credit card, debit card, or net banking. And, through the offline mode, the fee can be paid by cash at any HDFC branch. The fee details are as under:

BHU LLB 2022 Admit Card

BHU LLB Entrance Exam 2022 admit card will be issued to successfully registered candidates. The admit card will be released online and candidates can download the same using their login details. Admit card contains details such as the candidate's personal details, exam date, timing, exam-day instructions. Admit card is a mandatory document and those without the same will not be allowed to sit for the exam. It is advised to keep the admit card safe till the admission process gets over.

BHU LLB 2022 Result

BHU LLB result 2022 will be released online on the official website. Candidates can download the result using the login details. Candidates will be informed about the result announcement via their registered email Id and mobile number.

BHU LLB 2022 Counselling for Law Admissions

After the result announcement, qualified candidates are required to participate in the counselling process for admission to the courses. A merit list will be prepared based on the marks secured by the candidates. Candidates are required to appear for the counselling process as per the merit ranking. Call letters will be issued through online mode. Download the call letter and report at the allotted counselling venue with the required documents. Seats will be allotted after the document verification as per the merit rank, filled choices, and seat availability.
