Assam CEE exam is the state-level engineering entrance exam for UG courses. It is conducted once a year. This year, the Assam CEE exam is all set to be held on 20th September 2020. Here are the frequently asked questions related to the exam.

Question 1: What is Assam CEE?

Assam CEE is the Assam Combined Entrance Examination conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programme offered at colleges in Assam.


Question 2: When will be the exam conducted?

The upcoming Assam CEE exam will be conducted on 20th September 2020 from 11 am till 2 pm. It is conducted once a year.


Question 3: When will be the application forms available and what is the mode of application submission?

The application forms were available from 02nd March 2020 to 20th June 2020. The applications can be submitted only through the online mode via the official website.


Question 4: How long will the application link remain active?

Every year, the application link is active for a month, however due to COVID-19 infection across the world; it was active for four months this year. The last date of submission of the application form was 20th June 2020.


Question 5: What will be the mode of examination?

The Assam CEE examination will be conducted in offline mode.


Question 6: Can I appear for the exam in the Assamese language?

Yes. The question paper will be available in English and Assamese languages.

The Assam CEE admit card will be available from 15th September 2020.

Yes, there is negative marking in the exam. 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.

The minimum age limit for appearing in the exam is 17 years as on 1st August 2020.


Question 10: What is the upper age limit for the exam? Is there any relaxation in the upper age limit?

The upper age limit for the exam is 21 years as on 1st August 2020. Yes, a relaxation of 3 years is provided to SC/ST candidates.
