What is INET Exam?

INET or Indian Navy Entrance Test 2019 is an initiative taken up to recruit meritorious unmarried candidates (both male and female) for Officer Entry. Candidates who want to join the Indian Navy this is a great opportunity to apply for apply INET 2019 exam. Through this entrance test, shortlisted candidates will employ for Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC) under several branches of Indian Navy. For the 2019 session, the application process was conducted from 18th May to 29th May 2019, while the exam is expected to be conducted on last week of August 2019. Who Can Apply for Indian Navy (INET) Recruitment 2019 -

Candidates who completed their bachelors in B. Tech/ BE with minimum 60% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply for the exam. Apart from this, final year students of engineering course who are enrolled AICTE recognized university can also apply. The age limit of the candidate must lie in between 02nd July 1995 to 01st January 2001.

Application Process & Examination Fees for INET exam -

Interested candidates can apply online for the exam through the official website of Indian Navy. Students who want to submit their applications need to pay ₹ 205, while SC/ST and Women candidates are exempted from the fee payment process.

Admit card will be issued for the examination only to those students who have successfully paid the examination fee.

Selection Process of Indian Navy Recruitment 2019

The selection process comprises of two phases-

  • Online Written Exam
  • SSB Interview

Students who cleared both the rounds will undergo for 22 weeks Naval Orientation Course at the Naval Academy, Ezhimala.
