UPPSC PCS/AFO/Range Forest Officer Preliminary Exam 2019 – Admit Card Released

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the admit cards for the Preliminary phase of the Provincial Civil Services (PCS) Exam/ Assistant Forest Officer (AFO)/ Regional Forest Officer (RFO) exam 2019. Candidates who have applied for the exam can download the admit cards online through the official website - http://uppsc.up.nic.in.

Steps to download the Admit Card for UP PCS Preliminary Exam 2019

  • Visit the UPPSC official website - http://uppsc.up.nic.in.
  • Click on the link to download the admit card under the ‘Important Alerts’ section on the home page.
  • Enter your registration number, date of birth, and select your gender.
  • Click on ‘Download Admit Card’ button.
  • Your admit card will appear on the screen.
  • Check it and download.
  • Take a clear printout of the admit card.

Candidates are required to carry the admit card along with a valid ID proof and two recent passport size photographs to the examination venue. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without admit card under any circumstances.

UP PCS Preliminary Exam Pattern 2019

The exam comprises of two papers where Multiple Choice Questions are asked. Here is marks and timing distribution:

Paper II will be only of qualifying nature where candidates are required to secure a minimum of 33% score. Merit list will be prepared on the basis marks secured by the candidates in paper-I.

Examination Timings (Prelims)

The preliminary examination will be conducted on 15th December 2019 in two sessions at the following timings:

Paper I – 9:30 to 11:30 AM

Paper II – 2:30 to 4:30 PM

Those who will qualify the Preliminary phase examination are required to appear for the Main phase exam. The UPPSC PCS exam has one more round which is the Interview round. Candidates who get through the Main round are called for the Interview session.
